What makes ONS Congress different, and how we build for it
ONS Congress is the Oncology Nursing Society's annual meeting, and the 2027 edition, themed Strength in Every Thread, returns to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center on April 14–18. The exhibit floor sits beside the education program, so nurses arrive between sessions with a specific clinical question and a few minutes to ask it. Exhibitors span the ONS Corporate Council members such as Pfizer, Merck and AstraZeneca, infusion and access-device makers, oral oncolytic support programs and CE providers, with commercial, career-fair and patient-advocacy participation set apart on the floor. Purple builds booths that answer the question fast at the aisle and give the longer conversation a seat.
A way to pick their practice setting first, then approved materials sorted by that choice, with a staff member within reach and no mixed pile of clinical and promotional literature.
A compact set of approved education and implementation resources with version dates, a seated surface where two colleagues can read a piece together, and a clear next contact.
A visible handoff to the medical or scientific specialist, a quieter seat inside the footprint, and a follow-up captured without any patient detail on a public screen.

Booth options for ONS Congress 2027
Pick a footprint. We’ll price it as a rental, a custom build, or a hybrid.
ONS Congress floors are led by the Corporate Council pharma islands, with device, infusion, digital health, CE and career-fair exhibitors around them in inlines. Most Purple clients here choose a 10×20 with one demo station and a seated resource table, or a 20×20 island with a hanging sign and a quiet consultation corner.

One product or program story on a back wall, a single demo counter for a pump or patient-support platform, and organized storage for printed resources.

A demo station for a device or software walkthrough at one end and a seated resource table at the other, with a labeled literature wall between them.
See 10×20 rental booths →
An open island under a hanging sign with a reception point, two demo stations with their own audience space and a semi-private consultation seat for MSL conversations.
See 20×20 rental booths →
A portfolio island with distinct zones per therapy or product line, an infusion or access-device demo area, a small theater and a closed meeting room for scheduled discussions.
See 20×30 rental booths →All-in 2026 ranges for design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle; booth space, drayage and show services are separate. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show. Designing for oncology pharma, infusion and nursing-support brands at ONS Congress
Four things we get right for ONS Congress exhibitors

Sort resources by practice setting
Sort your materials by practice setting before we draw a wall: inpatient, ambulatory and academic nurses want different things. We build a labeled resource wall with the categories at eye level, concealed restock storage behind it and a small reading surface so two colleagues can look at a piece together.

Mount devices at working height
For pumps, access devices and workflow equipment, we mount the unit at working height with the demonstrator beside it, not in front of it. Only the accessories the workflow needs go on the surface; reserve stock lives in lockable storage, and every station has a printed reset procedure for staff.
Demo software as a short task
Software and patient-support platforms show best as a short task walkthrough on a demo account with fictional records. We spec screen size and mounting so three viewers read it from a shared position, test contrast under hall lighting, and build in an offline fallback for network-dependent features.
Build the MLR calendar into production
Every claim, graphic and demo script passes MLR or internal approval before it prints. We set graphic proof dates around your approval calendar, hold version control on printed pieces, and give patient-specific questions a private seated position away from screens so nothing sensitive is said in the aisle.

Concept rendering
Every proposal comes with a rendering like this

Logistics for ONS Congress 2027, handled
The Walter E. Washington Convention Center is an Events DC union building: a 10×10 inline with no power tools can be hand-carried, and anything larger, any island and any rigging goes through Teamsters and IBEW via the show's official contractor. Material handling runs about $175 per hundredweight with a 200-pound minimum, so we ship to the advance warehouse and skip direct-to-show surcharges. Halls A, B and C form a 473,000 sq ft contiguous run with separate dock assignments, and we book the dock for your hall. The Marriott Marquis connects by underground concourse and the Mt. Vernon Square Metro stop is at the front door. Our Mid-Atlantic crew installs, dismantles and handles return freight.
Hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines for this building are in our Walter E. Washington Convention Center exhibitor guide.

ONS Congress exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before ONS Congress
How much does a 20×20 at ONS Congress cost?
A 20×20 custom island at ONS runs $50,000 to $120,000, and a 20×20 rental island $16,000 to $40,000, covering design, structure, graphics and installation. A complete 10×20 rental is $7,500 to $15,000. Demo mounts, seating and screens move the number, so send us your booth size and product list for a fixed quote.
Can you install at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center?
Yes. Our Mid-Atlantic crew works the Walter E. Washington Convention Center regularly. We plan the install around the union rules, order Teamster and IBEW labor through the official contractor for anything beyond a hand-carry inline, and have the booth staged and reset before your team arrives.
Can we rent a booth for ONS Congress?
Yes. Rental architecture with your graphics, a custom resource wall on a rental frame, or a fully custom build are all on the table. Many first-time ONS exhibitors, especially CE providers and support programs, start with a rental and add a custom demo counter.
When do we need to decide?
Design sign-off by early February 2027 gives us a 30 to 45 day build and a late-March ship to the advance warehouse, with time for your MLR team to approve graphics. We can move faster; the trade-off is material choice and rush freight.
Do you handle the contractor orders and drayage for ONS?
Yes. We read the ONS exhibitor kit, order material handling, electrical and rigging through the official contractor, label freight for the advance warehouse, and keep you copied on every deadline. Your team only has to approve the content and show up.
