What makes AMCP Annual Meeting different, and how we build for it
AMCP 2027 is the spring meeting of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, the payer side of pharmacy: health plans, PBMs and the biopharma teams that negotiate formulary access with them.The Expo is compact. It shares the West Hall at Moscone West with the Poster Presentations and the dining area, and it runs two Expo Hall theaters, the Spotlight Stage and the RWE Arena, for real-world evidence talks. In 2025 AMCP counted 1,199 meetings scheduled through its mobile app, and its fall sibling, AMCP Nexus, follows in Orlando in October. Booths are sold by the 100 square feet, and each 100 includes one full-meeting registration and two Expo-only badges.
Clinical and economic evidence in a form they can take back to a pharmacy and therapeutics committee, a seat away from the aisle, and a contact who understands rebate, utilization management and benefit design questions.

AMCP's $3,000 non-profit and $3,600 emerging-company rates apply to a single 10×10, with eligibility confirmed by exhibits@amcp.org. Startups on that rate get a compact inline design from us that packs into one crate and fits the 10-foot drape line.
AMCP 2027 meeting space allows internal meetings at any time, networking events only outside scheduled AMCP events, no educational programs, and AMCP's own AV and catering contractors. Booking opens in January 2027. We plan in-booth meeting rooms around those limits.
AMCP 2027's call for posters rejects marketing and non-scientific abstracts and allows a brand name only at first mention, followed by the generic name. Accepted posters go on 4-by-8-foot boards in the poster hall. We keep your booth graphics consistent with that naming.

Sponsor talks of 15 or 30 minutes in two open Expo Hall theaters with headsets, the RWE Arena focused on real-world evidence; 15 minutes cost $8,500 for members and $9,500 for non-members in 2027.
A 60-minute Spotlight in a private room seating about 75, with a hot buffet and an invitation list AMCP manages from the attendees you choose; from $45,000 with three full registrations.

The front half of the West Hall holds the booth blocks in 10-foot units, with the AMCP Sales Office in the middle and the entrance at the front edge.
Our advice Attendees enter past these rows and return through them from lunch, so we put your brand line on both faces of a corner or island.
Spotlight Theater and RWE Theater
Two open theaters on opposite sides of the booth rows, where 15- and 30-minute Spotlight sessions play to about 50 seated listeners on headsets.
Our advice A booth next to the theater you book catches the audience as it stands up, so we keep that side of the booth open with a counter and no wall.
Poster Presentations and dining area
The back of the hall carries the poster boards, 4 feet high by 8 feet wide, and the dining area where Expo meals are served.
Our advice Researchers and payers walk from the posters to your booth with a study in mind, so we give the evidence a tablet station at standing height.

Logistics for AMCP Annual Meeting 2027, handled
Moscone West, opened in 2003, stands across 4th Street from Moscone North and South with its own docks, so AMCP freight never runs through the main complex. The Level 1 exhibit hall offers 96,660 square feet on a 125-pound-per-square-foot floor with 6-foot round columns, and nine basement docks off Howard Street take trailers up to 53 feet. Building crews at Moscone are union. AMCP opens move-in Tuesday, April 13, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesday 8 to 10 a.m., and teardown starts at the Thursday 2:30 p.m. close. AMCP names its general contractor in the January 2027 kit; we file the forms, and our project manager leads vetted local labor.

For a data or services company, a 10×20 rental from us runs $7,500 to $15,000; a biopharma island of 20×20 built custom runs $50,000 to $120,000. Moscone union labor, an enclosed meeting room and the mandatory booth carpet move the number. AMCP bills space separately: $4,900 per 10×10 for corporate members and $5,400 standard in 2027.
What is the deadline to book a booth for AMCP 2027?
AMCP has published no closing date for booth reservations; the 2027 floor plan is open now and booths are assigned in its portal. The firm 2027 dates so far are poster abstracts on November 2, 2026 and meeting space refunds on February 27, 2027. We need design sign-off by early February to build in time.
Can we rent a booth for AMCP 2027, and what does a rental include?
A rental from us replaces AMCP's blue and gray drape with a lit frame, printed fabric graphics, a counter with lockable storage, a meeting table and the booth carpet AMCP requires. One fixed proposal covers the freight plus the Moscone setup and teardown, and the kit returns to our warehouse after San Francisco.
Can our own staff set up our booth at Moscone West?
Moscone's contractor agreements reserve booth setup and teardown for union trades, so any exhibit needing tools, structure or lighting is built by a union crew. Our project manager leads that crew and your team arrives to a finished booth before the Wednesday 11 a.m. opening.
When is the AMCP 2027 Expo open?
The AMCP 2027 Expo is open Wednesday, April 14, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the Welcome Reception on the floor from 4:30 p.m., and Thursday, April 15, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. AMCP sells its Expo as dedicated time, with unopposed events such as the opening reception and luncheon.
What does drayage cost at Moscone for AMCP, and who pays it?
The exhibitor pays it, billed by weight through the general contractor's material handling form in the AMCP kit. For Moscone we plan about $180 per hundredweight in 2026 and 2027, with a 200-pound minimum per shipment. Light crates keep that bill down, and your proposal shows the drayage estimate on a separate line.
Where in Moscone West is the AMCP 2027 Expo?
AMCP's 2027 floor plan puts the Expo in the West Hall on Level 1. Booth rows fill the front half nearest the entrance, with the Spotlight Theater on one side, the RWE Theater on the other and the Partnering Lounge beside them; the Poster Presentations and dining area take the back of the hall.
Can we present in an AMCP Spotlight session instead of a satellite symposium?
AMCP sells 15- and 30-minute Spotlight sessions on the Spotlight Stage and in the RWE Arena, both open theaters in the Expo Hall with headsets for about 50 people, and a 60-minute Payer Suite in a private room. AMCP does not review the presentation in advance. We place your booth close to the theater you book.
Can we reuse our AMCP booth at other shows?
We build AMCP booths in modules for the managed care circuit. The same frame and meeting room travel to AMCP Nexus in Orlando, October 18–21, 2027, to ISPOR or to Asembia's AXS27 Summit with new graphics. Between meetings we store it in our warehouse and refresh claims when your label changes.
When is AMCP 2027?
AMCP 2027 runs Tuesday, April 13 to Friday, April 16, 2027, in San Francisco. Move-in starts April 13, the Expo is open April 14 and 15, and sessions continue to April 16. AMCP's next spring meeting, AMCP 2028, is March 20–23, 2028 in San Antonio.
Where is AMCP 2027 held?
At Moscone West on Howard Street, the newest of the three Moscone buildings, which sits across 4th Street from Moscone North and South in the SoMa district. AMCP moves its spring meeting each year: Houston in 2025, Nashville in 2026 and San Antonio in 2028.
