ITS America 2027 booths in Salt Lake City that run a live deployment demo
Agency buyers at ITS America want to watch a system run on real corridor data, so we design the booth around a working demo, mounted hardware and a quiet procurement table. Freight goes to the advance warehouse and we install at the Salt Palace on South Temple before the Expo Hall opens April 13.

What makes ITS America different, and how we build for it
ITS America is where the people who buy and approve transportation technology meet the companies that build it. The 2026 edition in Detroit drew 3,000+ professionals from 46 states and D.C., a record for the show, and the floor is built around proof: 25 live demonstrations through the Call for Demonstrations, the Cybersecurity & Data Zone, the ITS StartUps Zone and the Transportation Hub, with fireside chats and The Transportation Channel podcast recorded live. Public agencies made up 40 percent of that room, so a booth has to show a working deployment, not a slogan.
A clear view of a deployment that already works on real roads, the data it produces, and a quiet table to talk about procurement, pilots and integration with existing signal and traffic systems.
Hardware they can handle, live dashboards they can click through, and a technical lead in the booth who can answer questions about protocols, V2X, detection accuracy and maintenance.
A fast read on what the company does, which agencies use it and where it fits in a multimodal network, plus space for a scheduled meeting away from the aisle.

Your team walks into a lit, stocked booth. You just show up.

Popular booth sizes at ITS America
With about 170 exhibitors and sponsors in 2026, the ITS America Expo Hall is compact: most companies take 10×10 and 10×20 inlines, and the larger integrators and platform companies take islands. We recommend a 10×20 with a live demo station for a focused launch, or a 20×20 with a dashboard wall and a seated meeting table.

A demo station with a large monitor for your traffic platform, a hardware plinth for signal or detection equipment and a standing table for agency conversations.

Case study · KLEEMANN
KLEEMANN at a industrial technology exhibition
An interactive booth for a global elevator manufacturer: digital simulations, real product showcases and a floor plan that guided visitors from first step to last.
Different industry, same problem: KLEEMANN had to make complex engineered systems clear through live simulations and real hardware, which is exactly what an ITS demo booth must do.
Read the KLEEMANN case study All case studies →“Purple Exhibits made us look good. The booth was one of the nicest displays in our section of the convention center and generated a lot of positive comments from both customers and industry peers. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond made a huge difference.”

04 Designing for intelligent transportation and mobility technology companies at ITS America
Four things we get right for ITS America exhibitors
1Build the booth around a working demo
Buyers at ITS America want to see the system run. We plan the demo first: screen size and viewing distance, network and power drops, where the hardware sits and how a visitor moves from the live feed to the person who can explain it.
2Show real roads, not stock skylines
A map of the corridors and cities that run your product does more than a generic city graphic. We print deployment maps, before-and-after data and agency names you are cleared to use, sized to read from the aisle in a hall full of dashboards.
Give public buyers a quiet table
Public agencies made up 40 percent of 2026 attendees, and they talk procurement, pilots and contracts. A seated table or a small enclosed room with a door lets an agency team talk openly while your demo keeps running for the aisle.
Mount hardware like it lives outside
Signal heads, roadside units, cameras and lidar look right at height on a pole or mast arm, not flat on a table. We build steel or aluminum mounts, hide cabling and power, and pad and crate each device for the trip to Salt Lake City.

Concept rendering
Every proposal comes with a rendering like this
You see the booth in 3D before we cut a single panel: layout, graphics, lighting and product positions, revised until it is right. Shown: a Purple concept for Messilot.

Questions exhibitors ask us before ITS America
How much does a booth at ITS America 2027 cost?
Our rentals start at $3,500 for a 10×10 and run $7,500 to $15,000 for a 10×20 inline. A custom 20×20 island runs $50,000 to $120,000. At ITS America the number moves with the demo: LED walls, hardware masts and an enclosed meeting room add the most. Booth space, electrical and internet are billed separately by RX and the show contractor.
What is the deadline to order a booth for ITS America 2027?
For a custom booth we need design sign-off in early February 2027. That covers a 30 to 45 day build in Fishkill, NY or Las Vegas and a late March ship date to the advance warehouse. A rental can move faster. We file the RX exhibitor forms on the manual's dates and send you each one before it is due.
Can we rent a booth for ITS America, and what does a rental include?
Yes. A rental includes the frame, your printed fabric graphics, counters, monitor mounts and lighting, and we quote shipping to the Salt Palace, installation and dismantle on the same proposal. Many ITS companies rent the structure and add a custom mast or plinth for a roadside unit or camera, which keeps cost down while the booth still looks like your product.
Can you install our booth at the Salt Palace Convention Center?
We ship from Fishkill, NY or our Las Vegas hub, book the freight targets, and our project manager runs the install at the Salt Palace with vetted local labor under the show's labor rules. Your demo is powered, networked and tested before your team arrives, and the same manager handles dismantle on April 15.
Can we run a live demo in our ITS America booth?
Yes, and buyers expect one. ITS America ran 25 live demonstrations in 2026 through its Call for Demonstrations, which is a separate application from your booth. Inside the booth we plan screen sizes, viewing distance, hard-wired internet and power drops for each device, then order them so the feed runs from the first hour.
What does drayage cost at ITS America and who pays it?
Drayage is the charge for moving your freight from the dock or advance warehouse to your booth space. The show contractor bills it to the exhibitor by weight, per hundred pounds, for both move-in and move-out. We weigh every crate before it leaves our shop and put the drayage estimate on your proposal, so the figure is known before you sign.
Can we reuse the booth at other transportation shows?
We design the structure to reconfigure, so the same kit can return for ACT Expo in Las Vegas, the Esri User Conference in San Diego or APCO in Anaheim with new graphics. Between shows we store it, check it and swap printed panels, which is far cheaper than building again for each event.
We already own a booth. Can you refresh and install it for ITS America?
We inspect your existing exhibit, repair worn parts, reprint graphics with current deployment maps and agency names, add demo mounts if you need them, and ship it to Salt Lake City. Our project manager installs it at the Salt Palace, and afterward we can keep it in storage for your next show.
Before you sign with anyone
Five questions to ask any exhibit builder for ITS America:
- Is every fee on the proposal, including what the show contractor bills?
- Who builds the booth: your own shop or a subcontractor?
- Will your project manager be on the floor for install and dismantle?
- What exactly is in the rental, and what is billed by the show?
- Where does the booth go after the show, and what does storage cost?
Common situations
Already own a booth? We refresh the graphics, repair what is worn, ship it, install it and store it between shows. You keep the structure you paid for.
Exhibiting from outside the US? We are your team on the ground: freight to the advance warehouse, show-service orders, installation and storage, with one project manager answering your emails in your time zone.
Short on time? A rental with your graphics can be ready in two to three weeks. We tell you on the first call what is realistic for your date.
