ACT Expo 2027 booth design & build in Las Vegas
Custom and rental exhibits for truck OEMs, charging and fueling providers and fleet software companies, built around the vehicle you are bringing. Purple's Las Vegas crew plans the vehicle spot, the Teamsters drayage and the EV display paperwork so your team walks in to a finished booth.

What makes ACT Expo different, and how we build for it
ACT Expo calls itself the largest commercial transportation exhibit hall in North America, and the floor is built around vehicles: 400+ exhibitors covering vehicle technology, fueling and fleet management, with the trucks themselves as the draw. Buyers arrive from the Mainstage keynotes and the Fleet Awards, then work the Expo Hall Theater, the Technical Sessions and the Ride & Drive outside. The four programme topics, Advanced Powertrains & Vehicle Innovations, Digital Solutions for Peak Performance, Efficiency, Productivity & Safety, and Fuels, Energy & Infrastructure, mirror the four questions a fleet buyer brings to your booth. A booth that lets a fleet manager inspect the cab, see the charger beside it and sit down over a route example wins the meeting.
A clear view of the vehicle, the spec sheet at hand, and a seated place to walk through a depot or route example with the person who can quote it.
Component displays that sit beside the vehicle without blocking it, and a partner map that shows who supplies what in a joint exhibit.
Charging or fueling hardware presented as a static display with a site diagram, and a consultation table for facility and utility questions.
Purple in Las Vegas
Local crew, national shop
We manage back-to-back installations with speed and calm. From CES to NAB, our Las Vegas hub ensures local labor, rapid troubleshooting and smart storage options, giving exhibitors total confidence on the busiest floors in the U.S.
Predictable 30–45-day turnarounds, secure storage and pre-show QA. Your booth ships from our production shop in Fishkill, NY or our Las Vegas hub, and our project manager is on the floor for install and dismantle.

Booth options for ACT Expo 2027
Pick a footprint. We’ll price it as a rental, a custom build, or a hybrid.
ACT Expo floors are set by the truck OEMs, who take 40×50 and larger islands to park several vehicles. Suppliers, charging providers and software companies fill the 10×20 to 20×30 range around them. Most Purple clients here choose a 20×20 island for one vehicle or a 10×20 inline with a component wall and a demo screen.

One charger, battery module or telematics screen on a backlit wall, with a counter and a stool for a quick fleet conversation.

A component wall, a live software demo station and a standing table where a spec sheet can be compared with the visitor's duty cycle.
See 10×20 rental booths →
One medium-duty truck or van on the floor, a charging unit on a plinth beside it and a small meeting table under a hanging sign.
See 20×20 rental booths →
A Class 8 tractor or two vehicles, an infrastructure zone with a site diagram, a presentation screen and an enclosed meeting room.
See 20×30 rental booths →All-in 2026 ranges for design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle; booth space, drayage and show services are separate. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show. Designing for commercial vehicle and fleet technology at ACT Expo
Four things we get right for ACT Expo exhibitors

Place the vehicle before the walls
We start from the exact display vehicle, its length, width, door swing and the side that shows the feature, then draw counters, media wall and storage around it. The inspection side stays open and the brand statement sits where it cannot disappear behind the cab.

Show the charger, not a live charge
The LVCC facility guide bars indoor EV charging and requires an EV display form for every exhibited electric vehicle. We build the charging hardware as a static display or simulation on a clean plinth, with a site diagram that labels what is on the floor and what belongs to the wider project.

One fleet task per demo screen
Telematics and fleet software demos work when they show one decision with prepared data: a route, a utilization report, a service alert. We build a guided workstation with a larger companion screen so colleagues follow without leaning over the operator, plus an offline media fallback.
Give every partner a name
Joint exhibits between a vehicle maker, an infrastructure provider and a software company share one story on one map. We give each partner its own evidence point, its own contact route and shared storage, so a visitor always knows which company is answering the question.

Concept rendering
Every proposal comes with a rendering like this
You see the booth in 3D before we cut a single panel: layout, graphics, lighting and product positions, revised until it is right. Shown: a Purple concept for Dacon.

Logistics for ACT Expo 2027, handled
The Las Vegas Convention Center is a union building. Your own full-time staff may set up with hand tools; forklifts, pallet jacks and contract labor run through the show contractor and Teamsters Local 631, and Purple files as your Exhibitor Appointed Contractor with the certificate of insurance 30 days before move-in. Material handling bills per hundredweight with a 200 lb minimum per shipment, so we consolidate your crates onto one bill of lading and ship to the advance warehouse rather than the marshaling yard. We file the EV display form for each electric vehicle, schedule the vehicle spot, price the hanging sign and put your crew in the Renaissance or the Westgate, a short walk from the halls.
Hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines for this building are in our Las Vegas Convention Center exhibitor guide.

ACT Expo exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before ACT Expo
How much does a 20×20 at ACT Expo cost?
A complete 20×20 custom island for one vehicle lands between $50,000 and $120,000, and a 20×20 rental island between $16,000 and $40,000, covering design, structure, graphics and installation. Vehicle plinths, a hanging sign and a meeting room move the number; send us the vehicle dimensions and we return a fixed quote.
Can you install at the Las Vegas Convention Center?
Yes. Purple's Las Vegas crew installs at the LVCC through the show season, from CES to NAB. We file as your Exhibitor Appointed Contractor, work alongside the Teamsters for forklifts and freight, and our local shop handles graphics reprints and repairs overnight during the show.
Can we rent a booth for ACT Expo?
Yes. Rental structures with your graphics run from $3,500 for a 10×10 to $35,000 to $75,000 for a 20×40 island. Many first-time ACT Expo exhibitors rent the structure and put the budget into a custom component wall or vehicle plinth that travels to the next show.
When do we need to decide?
Design sign-off in early March gives a comfortable 30 to 45 day build and a late-April ship to the advance warehouse. We can start later; the trade-off is finish choices and freight cost. Vehicles need their display forms and move-in slot booked well before that.
Do you handle the show contractor orders and drayage?
Yes. We order electrical, rigging and material handling through the show contractor, consolidate your freight onto one bill of lading to pay one 200 lb minimum, and keep you copied on every deadline. You see one Purple invoice with the show services itemized.
