PODD 2027The exhibitor guide: booth costs, dates and deadlines

Questex prices its exhibiting and sponsorship packages on request, so the 2027 package price is not confirmed yet. We quote the stand itself separately: a backdrop, riser, lighting and graphics sized to a 6×3-foot table-top or an 8×10-foot stand, as one fixed price with freight and set-up included.

Questex sells a 6×3-foot table-top stand with its Associate and Lead & Executive sponsorships, and either a 6×3-foot or an 8×10-foot exhibit stand in its exhibiting package, along with branding on conference materials and on site. There is no expo floor of large booths.

The 2027 dates are not confirmed yet. Both recent editions ran in Boston in late October: the 15th on October 27–28, 2025 at the Westin Copley Place, and the 16th on October 29–30, 2026 at the Sheraton Boston Hotel. We start design as soon as Questex publishes the 2027 dates and hotel.

The 2027 venue is not confirmed yet. The 2026 conference was at the Sheraton Boston Hotel, 39 Dalton Street in Back Bay, reached through the Prudential Center; the 2025 edition was also in Boston, at the Westin Copley Place.

Registered attendees use the PODD networking app to search profiles, message, and book one-to-one meetings, across the 15+ hours PODD sets aside for partnering, with Credence MedSystems hosting the 1:1 program. Some sponsorship packages include early access to the partnering platform, so exhibitors can fill their calendars before arriving.

Drug delivery and device companies make up the exhibitors, 150+ of them by PODD's count: injectable and oral formulation platforms, autoinjector and wearable makers, primary container suppliers and CDMOs. Their visitors are formulation, CMC, device development, search and evaluation and licensing leads from pharma and biotech.

We build both PODD formats: a slim backdrop, a riser for devices or samples and printed graphics that fit Questex's 6×3-foot table, or a complete 8×10 stand within the space Questex sells. Everything ships in rolling cases that suit hotel freight elevators, and the artwork can later be reused on a larger booth at INTERPHEX or CPHI Americas.

We design for it. The PODD backdrop and device cradles can go to CPHI Americas, INTERPHEX or the PDA Annual Meeting, and we keep the kit in storage between meetings so it ships straight to the next venue.

We do. Once Questex confirms the 2027 hotel, we book the receiving window, label every case to the hotel's rules, order power and internet for your screen, and set up and pack out with our own project manager.

PODD's site lists 1,100+ attendees, 150+ exhibiting companies, 250+ speakers and 150+ sessions, with attendees from the U.S., Japan, Israel, Australia, Germany, England, France and Canada. Questex's June 2026 announcement expected more than 1,000 executives at the 16th edition; 2027 figures are not confirmed yet.

PODD is a paid business development conference, not a public expo. It is built for pharma, biotech, drug delivery, academic and investor professionals, and the partnering app is open only to registered attendees.

PODD is worth it when you license a delivery platform or device: the audience is the pharma scouts and formulation leads who start partnerships, and the meeting reserves 15+ hours for 1:1 partnering. With stands limited to 6×3 or 8×10 feet, spend goes on meetings and a sharp display rather than floor space.
