What makes AGBT General Meeting different, and how we build for it
AGBT works unlike any trade show on this list.The Genome Partnership, which has convened AGBT since 2000, admits attendees by application, expects about 1,050 in 2027 and sells no exhibit booths. Companies take part as Major Sponsors with private suites, or win Contributing Sponsorships in a single-round bid: Sponsor Promenade Suites on the first floor, Signia Parlor and Executive Suites, the Waldorf Presidential Suite, the Daytime Poster Session, the Women's Networking Event or the Welcome Dinner. Sponsors may host informal gatherings of up to 25 attendees in their suites, each approved by AGBT in advance, and may not compete with sessions, posters, meals or socials. We size seating and screens for that group.
All sponsor representatives who interact with attendees must be registered through AGBT, badge sharing is prohibited, and violators may lose future invitations. We plan suite staffing around the badges your sponsorship allows.
Waldorf Luxury Suites booked as private meeting rooms may not be used as hospitality suites, and they cost $2,000 per day with a three-day minimum. We furnish them as boardrooms with a screen and backdrop.
A signed bid sheet becomes a legally binding agreement if accepted, and awarded sponsorships are final and non-cancelable, payable by January 8, 2027. We confirm suite dimensions with you before you bid on a space.

A single-round, a la carte bid for suites, private rooms, meals, breaks, the Welcome Dinner and branding; highest bidders choose first. Bids close November 3, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. CT.

AGBT caps informal gatherings in suites and rooms at 25 attendees, with every gathering approved before the meeting. We lay out seating, a standing screen and a bar counter for that number, so a data talk in your suite feels full rather than empty.
3Brand without nails or tape
Signia Parlor and Executive Suites keep hotel furniture, and moving it needs Hilton approval and may carry a fee. We use freestanding fabric frames, tension displays and window clings that go up and come down without touching hotel walls.
4Promenade traffic is your aisle
Sponsor Promenade Suites sit on the first floor, where AGBT holds scheduled breaks and the Sponsor Social. We put a lit doorway graphic and a product plinth at the threshold, so attendees walking to coffee see the platform before they step inside.

Our advice Upstairs suites need a reason to visit, so we pair them with lobby clings, app messages and freestanding graphics that do not touch hotel walls.
Waldorf Astoria Orlando
Waldorf Luxury Suites used only as private meeting rooms at $2,000 per day, plus the 2,852-square-foot Presidential Suite at $8,000 per night, three-night minimum.
Our advice Meeting-only suites suit capital conversations; we furnish a boardroom table, a screen and a backdrop rather than a display.

Logistics for AGBT General Meeting 2027, handled
AGBT 2027 runs at the Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, a resort hotel 18 miles from Orlando International Airport, with some sponsor spaces in the neighboring Waldorf Astoria Orlando. There is no exhibit hall and no general service contractor floor to book into; AGBT sends floor plans, space allocations and setup times only to confirmed sponsors. Private meeting rooms cost $2,000 per day with a three-day minimum, and special events carry hotel food and beverage minimums. We plan delivery to the hotel's receiving area, measure the suite, and send our project manager to install the room in the setup window AGBT assigns.

How much does a presence at AGBT 2027 cost?
Contributing sponsorships are awarded by bid, with 2027 minimums from $7,500 for bag inserts and room drops, $10,000 for clings and Women's Networking Event tables, and $20,000 for Wi-Fi, light towers or charging lounges. Private meeting rooms add $2,000 per day for three days, and sponsor badge packages with hotel run $2,500 to $4,300 per person.
What is the deadline for AGBT 2027 sponsorships?

Can you design and set up our AGBT sponsor suite?
We do: we measure the suite, then build freestanding fabric walls, a demo screen stand, product plinths and a welcome counter that fit through hotel doors and leave walls untouched. Freight, install and removal by our project manager sit on one fixed proposal.
How many people can we host in our AGBT suite?
Up to 25 attendees at a time for informal gatherings in your designated suite or room, and AGBT must approve each gathering before the meeting starts. Events for more than 25 people can run only outside the agenda: after 10 p.m. on March 1, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on March 2, or after 9:30 p.m. on March 3.
Can we bring an instrument to AGBT?
AGBT strongly recommends a hotel visit to tour your space and measure it, particularly for large equipment or displays, so load-in goes smoothly. We check door and elevator sizes, plan the delivery route through the resort, and build a plinth that supports the instrument's weight.
Who can staff our AGBT suite?
Every sponsor representative who meets attendees must be registered and credentialed through AGBT, and badge sharing is prohibited. Sponsor Scientific badges include all sessions; Sponsor Marketing badges cover meals, social events and your own workshop but not scientific sessions. Each sponsorship sets how many badges you may buy.
Can we reuse our AGBT suite displays at other shows?
We build suite displays as modules that also make up a 10×20 booth, so the same frames work at AGBT Precision Health in Coronado, ASHG or SLAS with new graphics. Between meetings we store them and reprint the data panels.
When is AGBT 2027?
The AGBT General Meeting runs March 1–4, 2027 in Orlando. The pre-conference workshop and the Welcome Dinner open it on Monday, March 1, the Daytime Poster Session is Tuesday, March 2, and AGBT shuttles return attendees to the airport on Friday, March 5.

AGBT expects approximately 1,050 attendees for the 2027 General Meeting, a number set by meeting room capacity, and counts more than 31,000 attendees across its meetings since 2000. Posters give the scale of each edition: 159 at Orlando in 2026, 163 at Marco Island in 2025 and 218 at Orlando in 2024.
Who organizes AGBT, and can anyone attend?
The Genome Partnership, a not-for-profit founded in 1999, runs AGBT. Attendance is by application and acceptance is not automatic: the first consideration round for 2027 closes October 26, 2026. AGBT keeps a balanced mix of industry, academic, government and nonprofit attendees.
Is AGBT worth exhibiting at?
For sequencing, single-cell and spatial companies it is one of the most valuable rooms of the year, but not as an exhibit: about 1,050 accepted attendees, no booths, and suites where scientists sit down with your data. It suits firms that sell to genome centers and core labs and can staff a suite with scientists.
Does AGBT have booths at its other meetings?
Exhibit space comes with major sponsorships of AGBT Agriculture, April 4–7, 2027 in Miami, and AGBT Precision Health, September 13–16, 2027 in Coronado, California, with 2027 minimum bids of $15,000 to $30,000. Those sponsorships also qualify you as a General Meeting contributing sponsor.
