What makes ASGCT Annual Meeting different, and how we build for it
ASGCT started as an academic forum and still runs like one: the American Society of Gene & Cell Therapy ran 172 sessions at its 2026 meeting, and in Philadelphia Hall B+A opens only on the middle three days of the five-day meeting. ASGCT prohibits compressed gases, flammable liquids, foam-core signs, fog machines, drones, lasers, UV and strobe lighting, and any booth activity offering CME credit (2027 terms). We specify LED lighting and printed graphics that clear the list.
Exhibitors need written ASGCT approval to photograph or record in Hall B+A, may film only their own space and may not capture other exhibits or attendees; requests close March 31, 2027. We file the request for your launch video.

Four things we get right for ASGCT Annual Meeting exhibitors
1Three bays is the inline ceiling
ASGCT lets you combine up to three adjacent 10×10 booths, and in that 10×30 run the 4-foot front limit only applies within 10 feet of a neighbor. We put the tall graphic in the center bay and keep the aisle ends low, so your middle section reads from Hall B+A's main aisles.
2Islands stop at 16 feet
ASGCT island structures top out at 16 feet with at least half the walls see-through, and multi-level exhibits and raised flooring are banned. Hanging signs rise to 20 feet and need an engineering stamp. We send renderings to the Exhibitor Console well before ASGCT's March 25, 2027 cutoff.
3Demos without a microphone
Microphones are prohibited during ASGCT booth demonstrations, sound must stay under 85 decibels at the aisle, and lasers, UV and strobe lighting are banned. We design a semicircle of screens a small group can hear from, with headphones for video and demo requests filed by March 31, 2027.
4Poster crowd, ten-dollar giveaways
Giveaways at ASGCT cap at $10, raffles and spin wheels are banned, and only pens, totes, notebooks and similar items are pre-approved. We trade the prize wheel for a data card or protocol handout tied to your posters, printed for the Philadelphia hall.

Logistics for ASGCT Annual Meeting 2027, handled
Heritage Exposition Services is ASGCT's official decorator, and its Exhibitor Service Manual reaches confirmed exhibitors from December 2026 with the forms for carpet, electrical, internet, lead retrieval and catering. Every booth is sold unfurnished without power and must be carpeted, and islands must be built and dismantled by an exhibitor-appointed contractor, so we file the EAC form with our insurance certificate. The Pennsylvania Convention Center works under local union agreements, and ASGCT holds exhibitors to its Union Jurisdiction Rules. Your space must be occupied by 4 p.m. on Monday, May 3, and packing starts only after 6:30 p.m. on May 6. Our project manager leads install with vetted Philadelphia labor.

How much does a booth at ASGCT 2027 cost?
For a 10×20 inline the booth itself is a $7,500 to $15,000 rental, and an EAC-built 20×20 custom island runs $50,000 to $120,000. Space is billed separately by ASGCT: $74 per square foot inline and $87 per square foot for islands in 2027, so a 10×20 is $14,800 before corner fees. Stamped hanging signs, carpet and catering move the total.
What are the ASGCT 2027 exhibitor deadlines?
Full payment for booth space and every support item is due March 3, 2027. Island and hanging-sign renderings go to the Exhibitor Console by March 25, with changes by April 2. Demo, giveaway, food and beverage, photography and ancillary event requests close March 31. We need design sign-off by mid-February to hit those dates.
Can we rent a booth for ASGCT, and what does a rental include?
We rent ASGCT kits from a 10×20 inline up to an island: frame, fabric graphics, LED lighting kept inside your booth line, counters, storage and the flooring ASGCT requires on every booth. Freight, install, dismantle and the Heritage order paperwork sit on one fixed proposal, and the kit comes back to us after Philadelphia.
Can our own staff set up our booth at the Pennsylvania Convention Center for ASGCT?
For an inline booth, ASGCT holds exhibitors to the union jurisdiction rules in the Exhibitor Service Manual. Island booths are different: ASGCT requires an exhibitor-appointed contractor to build and dismantle them, with an EAC form and liability certificate for that firm. Without notice in time, Heritage labor does the work and your EAC can only supervise.
Can we serve coffee or drinks in our ASGCT booth?
Food and beverage must come from the Pennsylvania Convention Center's caterer, which rules out your own coffee machine, and cooking is banned. Alcohol packages may be served only after the afternoon coffee break, 3:45 to 5:30 p.m. You file a form by March 31, 2027 and must order porter service, which we add to your Heritage orders.
Which hall is the ASGCT 2027 exhibit hall in?
ASGCT lists the exhibit hall as Hall B+A of the Pennsylvania Convention Center, open May 4 to 6, 2027. Your booth number comes from the floor plan on ASGCT's application site, where 2026 exhibitors got early access through Priority Points before the public release. We plan freight and sight lines once your space is assigned.
Do you handle Heritage Exposition Services orders for ASGCT?
We do. Heritage's Exhibitor Service Manual opens to confirmed exhibitors in December 2026, and we place the carpet, electrical, internet, porter and material handling orders from it, along with drape for any exposed wing panels. Each order goes on your proposal before we file it, and we copy you on the confirmations.
We are a startup. Is there a discount at ASGCT?
ASGCT takes $3,500 off booth space for nonprofits and for startups that have not reached Series B financing, and $500 off for first-time exhibitors, subject to ASGCT's eligibility check. For a seed-stage company we usually pair that with a 10×20 rental, so the whole Philadelphia appearance stays inside one predictable budget.
When is ASGCT 2027?
The ASGCT 2027 Annual Meeting runs Monday, May 3 to Friday, May 7, 2027, and the exhibit hall is open Tuesday, May 4 to Thursday, May 6, 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Eastern each day. Registration for the meeting opens in December 2026.
Where is ASGCT 2027 held?
In Philadelphia, at the Arch Street home of the Pennsylvania Convention Center, a building with 528,000 square feet of contiguous exhibit space and more than 14,000 hotel rooms within walking distance. The 2026 meeting was at the Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston.

About 7,000 people attended the 2025 meeting in New Orleans, by ASGCT's own count. The 2026 Boston meeting set a record of 400 industry partners across 172 sessions, and exhibitors logged more than 23,200 badge scans, so plan staffing and lead capture for a busy three-day hall.
How do we get a booth at ASGCT?
Apply through ASGCT's online exhibitor application, where space goes first-come, first-served and is held only once the application is in. ASGCT confirms within three to five business days. From February 1, 2027, full payment is due with the application, and a 50 percent refund on cancellation ends January 29, 2027.
Is ASGCT worth exhibiting at?
For cell and gene therapy tools, vector, CDMO and analytics companies it is the meeting where the field's researchers and process leads gather in one hall, with 400 industry partners in 2026. The hall is open only three days and the rules are tight, so the return comes from a booth built for short data conversations and pre-booked meetings.
Do ASGCT exhibitors need their own liability insurance?
ASGCT includes exhibitor liability insurance, placed through Rain Protection Insurance, in the 2027 booth space fee, so you file no policy of your own. Any exhibitor-appointed contractor is different: each EAC firm must send ASGCT a valid certificate of liability insurance with its EAC form, which we file as your EAC.
