What makes Techtextil North America different, and how we build for it
Techtextil North America is the Messe Frankfurt show where a fabric is judged by what it can become: a filter, a seat, a ballistic panel, a wound dressing. It runs on the same floor and the same dates as Texprocess Americas, so the machinery buyers walk past your material too. The Symposium and the Tech Talks stage put engineers in a technical mood before they reach your aisle, and Shepard runs the floor at the Georgia World Congress Center. A booth that shows the application first, then puts the labeled construction in a visitor's hand, is the one those engineers remember and come back to on day three.
A construction they can handle, a consistent identifier on every sample, and a table where a spec conversation can happen away from the aisle.
The finished application at real scale first, then the drape, translucency and surface of the material under honest light.
A clear range shown in an edited order, weights and variants ready in a drawer, and a way to log a sample request that survives the flight home.

Booth options for Techtextil North America 2027
Pick a footprint. We’ll price it as a rental, a custom build, or a hybrid.
Most exhibitors at Techtextil North America take 10×10 and 10×20 inlines, the larger fiber, nonwoven and coating producers take islands, and the machinery brands sit next door at Texprocess Americas. A 10×20 with a suspended textile wall reads well from the aisle. Most Purple clients choose between a 10×20 sample studio and a 20×20 island with a lit comparison table.

See 10×20 rental booths →
A hanging sign, two application zones such as protective and mobility, a shared sample library and an open meeting table.
See 20×20 rental booths →
Application vignettes by market, a demo station for a coating or finishing process, closed development meeting space and sample storage.
See 20×30 rental booths →All-in 2026 ranges for design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle; booth space, drayage and show services are separate. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show. Designing for technical textile and nonwovens producers at Techtextil North America
Four things we get right for Techtextil North America exhibitors

Show the application before the fiber
Lead with a recognizable end use such as filtration, mobility, protection or medical, using a finished part at real scale. Then reveal the construction beside it with one identifier. A buyer understands the context before decoding yarn names, and the conversation starts at the right level.

Let the textile be the architecture
A supported panel shows drape, translucency and surface at a useful size. We choose the mount and the lighting for each material rather than printing it flat, and we keep colored spill light off the comparison surface so a finish reads true.

Build a library that works mid-meeting
Trays and drawers sorted by application or construction, repeated tray sizes, and labels that stay visible when a sample is lifted. Everything sits within reach of the development table so a product developer finds the right variant while the discussion is still focused.
Decide who handles what
We plan which samples visitors may handle, which need a representative and which go home with them, with restock and packaging hidden inside the furniture. Physical and digital labels match, so a construction discussed on day two is easy to trace after the show.

Concept rendering
Every proposal comes with a rendering like this
You see the booth in 3D before we cut a single panel: layout, graphics, lighting and product positions, revised until it is right. Shown: a Purple concept for Ecowood / Shingi Corporation.

Logistics for Techtextil North America 2027, handled
Georgia is a right-to-work state, so at the Georgia World Congress Center your own staff can help assemble and dismantle, while drayage and utilities route through Shepard, the show's official contractor. We read the Techtextil exhibitor kit, file the exhibitor-appointed contractor notice and insurance certificate, book your Shepard targets and ship to the advance warehouse. Drayage on this campus runs about $150 per hundredweight with a 200-pound minimum, and we pack sample cases to keep the weight down. Buildings A, B and C have different dock and freight-elevator access, so we plan the load-in from your hall drawing. Our Atlanta crew installs and stays through the show. Hotels on International Boulevard and the MARTA station sit at the campus door.
Hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines for this building are in our Georgia World Congress Center exhibitor guide.

Techtextil North America exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before Techtextil North America
How much does a 20×20 at Techtextil North America cost?
A 20×20 custom island runs $50,000 to $120,000 all in for design, structure, graphics and installation, and a 20×20 rental island $16,000 to $40,000. A 10×20 inline rental lands between $7,500 and $15,000. Send us your sample formats and we return a fixed quote.
Can you install at the Georgia World Congress Center?
Yes. Our Atlanta crew installs and dismantles on the GWCC campus regularly. We file the exhibitor-appointed contractor notice and insurance with the organizer, order Shepard services, and our project manager is on the floor from move-in through the last crate out.
Can we rent a booth for Techtextil North America?
Yes. Rental structures with your graphics, custom sample walls and a hybrid of the two are all available. Many first-time Techtextil exhibitors start with a 10×20 rental, add a suspended textile panel and keep the sample library for the next show.
When do we need to decide?
Design sign-off by late February gives a comfortable 30 to 45 day build and a mid-April ship date to the advance warehouse. Later is possible; the trade-off is choice of finishes, freight cost and the risk of missing your Shepard target date.
Do you handle Shepard orders and drayage?
Yes. We order Shepard material handling, electrical and rigging, ship to the advance warehouse, book your target date and keep you copied on every deadline. Drayage runs about $150 per hundredweight with a 200-pound minimum, so we pack light and consolidate crates.
