What makes Battery Show South different, and how we build for it
The Battery Show South is Informa Markets' Southeast edition of The Battery Show, and 2027 is its first year at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta after the 2026 edition in Charlotte. It runs alongside EV Tech Expo, Energy Storage South and MD&M South, so the engineer at your pack display may have walked over from a medical-device aisle. Two expo days, a Welcome Reception, breakfast roundtables, the Connection Zone meetups and the Innovation Spotlight compress the buying conversation into 48 hours. Booths that win here show the cell, module or machine at real scale, label the interface being sold, and give a design engineer a place to open drawings without leaving the aisle.
A real component, cutaway or labeled model they can point to, the interface named on the graphic, and drawings within reach for a specialist conversation.
The machine, module or inspection station shown in a clear input-to-output sequence, with the operating state identified and room to watch a demo without blocking the aisle.
A short qualification talk about application, product version, sample availability and lead time, at a table away from the demo noise.
Purple in Atlanta
Local crew, national shop
Atlanta’s position as a logistics hub gives our team the edge in fast freight coordination. We manage everything from drayage to dismantle with precision timing so your booth moves through one of America’s busiest corridors without friction.
Predictable 30–45-day turnarounds, secure storage and pre-show QA. Your booth ships from our production shop in Fishkill, NY or our Las Vegas hub, and our project manager is on the floor for install and dismantle.

Booth options for Battery Show South 2027
Pick a footprint. We’ll price it as a rental, a custom build, or a hybrid.
Battery Show South floors mix 10×10 component suppliers with 20×20 and larger islands from equipment makers and pack integrators showing full-size hardware. Most Purple clients at battery and EV shows choose a 10×20 with one hero product and a drawing table, or a 20×20 island with a demo station and an open meeting corner under a hanging sign.

One labeled cell, connector or BMS board display on a lit plinth, a system diagram on the back wall and a stool for a technical conversation.

See 10×20 rental booths →
A working demo station for test, inspection or assembly equipment, an open meeting table and a hanging sign that reads across the hall.
See 20×20 rental booths →
Full-size manufacturing equipment on a load-rated floor, separate application zones for EV and stationary storage, and a semi-private engineering meeting room.
See 20×30 rental booths →All-in 2026 ranges for design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle; booth space, drayage and show services are separate. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show. Designing for battery, EV and energy storage suppliers at Battery Show South
Four things we get right for Battery Show South exhibitors

Name the system boundary first
Your first graphic should say whether you supply the material, the component, the equipment or the service, and where that sits between cell and application. We build the chain diagram into the back wall so a visitor places you before a specialist even says hello.

Show the detail a brochure cannot
A sectioned inactive assembly, an enlarged model or a component wall sorted by role reveals the connector, layer or process result that disappears inside a finished pack. We label every representative part and secure small samples so they stay visible without crowding the surface.
Engineer the plinth for the hardware
Test chambers, formation equipment and battery packs are heavy and need service access. We size plinths and floor plates from your dimensions and weights, plan removable panels, route power and data, and design the demo reset so staff are not crawling behind the display.
Give test data and software an anchor
A performance claim belongs next to its test conditions, and a manufacturing-software demo belongs next to the physical stage it controls. We place the screen beside the matching component, keep the result readable from the aisle and prepare an offline version of the same workflow.

Concept rendering
Every proposal comes with a rendering like this
You see the booth in 3D before we cut a single panel: layout, graphics, lighting and product positions, revised until it is right. Shown: a Purple concept for Waaree Solar Americas Inc.

Logistics for Battery Show South 2027, handled
The Georgia World Congress Center is 1.4 million square feet across Buildings A, B and C, joined by the Exhibit Hall BC connector, and Georgia is a right-to-work state, so your own staff can work alongside our crew while drayage and utilities run through the show's official contractor. We plan on about $150 per hundredweight with a 200-pound minimum, which matters when a pack, a test chamber or a coating line ships as one crate. We read the Battery Show South exhibitor kit, file the forms, book the freight target, ship to the advance warehouse and put our Southeast crew on the dock. MARTA stops at the campus entrance and the Omni at CNN Center is across the street.
Hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines for this building are in our Georgia World Congress Center exhibitor guide.

Battery Show South exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before Battery Show South
How much does a 20×20 at Battery Show South cost?
A 20×20 custom island runs $50,000 to $120,000 all in for design, structure, graphics and installation, and a 20×20 rental island $16,000 to $40,000. Heavy equipment plinths and live demo power move the number, so send us your hardware list with weights and we return a fixed quote.
Can you install at the Georgia World Congress Center?
Yes. Purple coordinates Southeast crews and regional freight for Atlanta shows. We book the freight target, receive your crates at the dock, set the equipment on load-rated plinths, connect power and have the booth demo-ready before your engineers land at Hartsfield-Jackson.
Can we rent a booth for Battery Show South?
Yes. A 10×10 rental starts at $3,500 and a 10×20 rental at $7,500, with your graphics and a custom product plinth added where the hardware needs it. Many first-time battery exhibitors rent the structure and buy only the display piece they will reuse.
When do we need to decide?
Design sign-off in early February 2027 gives a 30-to-45-day build and a late-March ship to the Atlanta advance warehouse for the April 19 move-in. Later is possible; the trade-off is finish choices and expedited freight on heavy crates.
Do you handle the contractor orders and drayage?
We do. We read the exhibitor kit, order material handling, electrical and rigging through the show's official contractor, budget drayage at about $150 per hundredweight with a 200-pound minimum, and keep you copied on every deadline so nothing depends on a form you did not see.
