MEDevice Silicon Valley, renamed from BIOMEDevice in May 2024, is the West Coast half of Informa's MEDevice brand: a compact two-day supplier floor in the middle of the venture-backed device world.Informa lists Abbott, Intuitive Surgical, Medtronic, Stryker and Edwards Lifesciences among attending companies, and says 84% of attendees are regional buyers with purchasing power. Three floor stages, the Trends & Technology Theater, the Design Studio Theater and the Innovation Spotlight Theater, mix regulatory talks with product spotlights, while Quick Connect Networking pairs attendees with suppliers one to one. The Innovation Showcase names a Product of the Year and a People's Choice winner.

Rules that shape your booth
The 2026 Innovation Showcase page accepts launched products only, never prototypes or new company launches, shown out of their packaging with one spec sheet up to 8.5×11 and no samples, ads or giveaways. We hold those back at your counter and design the single permitted spec sheet.
Qualifying suppliers who skip a booth may send two people at $499 each to one show a year and may not solicit buyers or exhibitors or hand out materials. Selling happens at booths, so we give yours a counter staff can work from open to close.
MEDevice Silicon Valley admits nobody under 18 to the expo hall and offers no childcare. We plan the install crew, demo operators and booth staff schedule with adults only.
The free 2026 Sustainable Booth Contest includes an on-site assessment and asks whether you remove all display property and flooring after the show. We document the materials, lighting and shipping choices in your application and pack out every piece.

Logistics for MEDevice Silicon Valley 2027, handled
The 2027 city and venue are not confirmed yet. In 2026 MEDevice uses the Santa Clara Convention Center, where the organizer says convention center parking is free and lists six EV chargers on site plus 48 in the Tasman Parking Garage. For 2026 Informa sold space from $65 per square foot, ran exhibitor tasks through the MapYourShow Exhibitor Portal and handled housing through its event housing manager with Hyatt group rates. We pack the booth in Fishkill, NY, ship it to the advance warehouse named in the exhibitor kit, place the contractor orders and send our own project manager with vetted local labor for setup and teardown.
Hall guide
The 2027 city, venue and floor plan are not confirmed yet. On the 2026 show floor Informa runs three theaters plus a central Innovation Showcase, and these set where attendees gather between booth visits.

How much does a booth at MEDevice Silicon Valley 2027 cost?
Two parts: space and build. Informa priced 2026 space from $65 per square foot, so a 10×20 started near $13,000 before upgrades. Our 10×20 rental runs $7,500 to $15,000 and a custom 10×20 $15,000 to $45,000; demo hardware, lit sample cases and power drops move it most. Show contractor services bill separately.
What is the deadline to book MEDevice Silicon Valley 2027?
Informa's 2027 calendar is not confirmed yet, which means no booking or form deadline has been posted for that edition, and the 2026 Innovation Showcase listed its own deadline as undecided. Space is sold by location, so earlier contracts get better spots. For the build we need design sign-off about ten weeks before move-in.
Can we rent a booth for MEDevice Silicon Valley?
Yes. Our MEDevice rental is a 10×20 kit: tension-fabric back wall with your graphics, a lit counter for parts with locking storage, a prototype bench, LED lighting and two stools, with freight, build and teardown on one fixed price. Rented property also earns points in the show's Sustainable Booth Contest, and the kit returns to us afterwards.
Can we set up our own booth at MEDevice Silicon Valley?
Informa has not published 2027 labor rules, and the 2027 city and venue are not confirmed yet, so the 2027 assembly rules are open too. When the exhibitor kit opens we read its labor and contractor sections, register as your builder and send our project manager with vetted local labor, so your engineers only staff the booth.
What can go in the MEDevice Silicon Valley Innovation Showcase?
Up to three products per exhibitor, free, launched in the last year or going on sale within two years of the show; new company launches and prototypes are excluded. Products sit out of their packaging with one spec sheet no larger than 8.5×11, and awards go to Product of the Year and People's Choice.
How is freight and drayage billed at MEDevice Silicon Valley?
The show contractor charges each exhibitor for moving freight from the advance warehouse or dock to the booth, at the rate in that year's exhibitor kit; no 2027 rate is published. Sample cases are light but demo machines are not, so we weigh every crate and show the handling estimate as a separate proposal line.
Can we reuse our MEDevice Silicon Valley booth at other shows?
The kit is built to travel: the same counter and bench can work MD&M West in Anaheim in February, MEDevice Boston in May or OMTEC near Chicago, with graphics changed per audience. Between shows we warehouse it, replace worn panels and restock the sample trays before it ships to the next show.

Suppliers who qualify to exhibit but do not may send two representatives at $499 per badge, attend one show a year at most, and may not solicit buyers or exhibitors; anyone handing out materials can be removed. A booth is the only sanctioned place to sell, so we make yours easy to work all day.

MEDevice Silicon Valley is for medtech professionals, not the general public. The Expo Pass was free with pre-registration in 2026 and $199 at the door, passes are non-refundable and nobody under 18 may enter the expo hall. Attendees register again each year, and visa letters can be requested during registration.
Who organizes MEDevice Silicon Valley?
Informa Markets Engineering, part of Informa plc, which also runs MEDevice Boston and the MD&M shows. Informa renamed the event from BIOMEDevice Silicon Valley in May 2024. To exhibit, you review the floor plan, choose a size and three locations and contract with Informa's sales team.
