What makes RE+ Texas different, and how we build for it
RE+ Texas is the state edition of RE+, run since 2016 by RE+ Events for its owners, SEIA and SEPA, and in 2026 it shared one expo hall with RE+ Microgrids, the EMerge Alliance-backed event on DC and hybrid microgrids. The 2026 program spoke straight to ERCOT: large-load interconnection, data center demand and a session titled Five Years After the Freeze. In 2026, 77% of attendees had buying power and 72% were interested in batteries, ahead of solar at 68% and inverters at 50%. The Energy Transition Theater and Business Labs from EMerge Alliance and Energize Us Edu run on the floor, so short, specific product stories beat big structures here.
They want equipment that is already bankable in ERCOT, with interconnection experience, Texas references and delivery dates that match a 2027 or 2028 build.
RE+ Microgrids sends facility owners and data center teams across the shared hall; they ask about controls, storage duration, resilience and DC architectures.
Regional distributors and C&I installers compare stock in Texas, warranty support and pricing, and want a direct contact who covers the state.

We build in our own production shop in Fishkill, NY, and our Las Vegas hub, ship to the George R. Brown Convention Center, and install with our own project manager on the floor and vetted local labor. Expect a 30–45-day build for RE+ Texas, secure storage and a pre-show QA.

New at RE+ Texas 2027
- Later in March
RE+ Texas moves from March 11–12 in 2026 to March 24–25 in 2027, about two weeks later. That gives an extra fortnight of production time after the holidays, and with RE+ Southeast moving to May 11–12 the two regionals sit seven weeks apart, enough to ship one booth between them. source
Inside RE+ Texas 2027
RE+ Texas rules that shape your booth
RE+ Texas assigns booths first come, first served: you choose a space on the live 2027 floor plan and complete the Space Application Contract from it. We review the plan with you so the booth you click suits your product and traffic.
The $32 per sq ft rate is reserved for companies holding SEIA Premium or SEPA membership, and non-members are billed $37. We note your membership status on the proposal so the space line is right from the start.
RE+ Events bars exhibitors from competing events during show hours, keeps marketing inside the contracted booth, and needs notice and consent for hospitality suites. We keep graphics and literature within your booth line and schedule receptions after hours.
RE+ Events allows no infants or children under 18 on the exhibit floor or in education sessions. We remind your team when we send the staffing plan so nobody travels with family expecting a badge.
Programs worth planning for
A microgrid event on DC and hybrid AC/DC systems with EMerge Alliance; it shared the RE+ Texas expo hall in 2026 and returns on the same dates and in the same building in 2027.
RE+ Events offers savings to exhibitors who book several RE+ events through a multi-event interest form, useful for suppliers planning Texas, Southeast and the national show.
RE+ Texas is the RE+ family's Texas and ERCOT show, small and buyer-dense; pick it instead of the national RE+ show when your sales team covers Texas developers, EPCs and microgrid owners and a 10×20 budget beats a national island. 02 Booths & pricing for RE+ Texas 2027
Popular booth sizes at RE+ Texas
RE+ Texas sells space by the square foot on a first-come, first-served floor plan, with a 10×10 package that includes an ID sign, a 6-foot draped table, two chairs and two conference passes. Most of the 115+ exhibitors in 2026 were in regional-show footprints; we recommend a 10×20 for product plus a meeting table.

A battery cabinet or inverter on one side, a back wall with ERCOT project photos and a high table where a developer can sit for ten minutes.

Shapoorji Pallonji at an engineering and infrastructure exhibition
A structured, powerful booth for a global engineering group founded in 1865, built to communicate scale, trust and engineering excellence.
Different scale, same goal: Shapoorji Pallonji's booth made an engineering group's capability clear at a glance, which a compact RE+ Texas booth has to do for ERCOT developers in two days.

04 Designing for solar, energy storage, microgrid, inverter and balance-of-system suppliers selling into Texas at RE+ Texas
Four things we get right for RE+ Texas exhibitors
1Speak to two events at once
RE+ Texas and RE+ Microgrids shared one expo hall in 2026 and return to the GRB on the same dates in 2027, so one booth can meet solar developers and microgrid engineers in the same aisle. We split the back wall into a Texas solar and storage story and a microgrid and resilience story, each with its own headline and screen.
2Lead with batteries
In 2026, 72% of RE+ Texas and Microgrids attendees named batteries as a technology of interest, more than solar at 68%. If storage is in your line, we put the cabinet or module on the aisle corner and the datasheet beside it, then the solar products behind.
3Flat-pack for a right-to-work hall
Texas is a right-to-work state and your own full-time staff may assemble a booth of any size at the GRB with their own tools. We design a flat-packed structure that two people build in an afternoon and fly a small crew, which cuts both drayage weight and labor cost.
4Show Texas proof, not national claims
Fifty-eight percent of 2026 attendees came from Texas and the program centered on ERCOT, large loads and grid resilience. We print a Texas project map and named references on the back wall so a buyer sees local experience before reading specs.

Where you could be at RE+ Texas 2027
RE+ Events has not published which GRB halls RE+ Texas uses in 2027. These are the halls this building uses and what each means for a regional energy booth.
Halls A to E, Level 1
About 125,000 to 130,000 sq ft each on the street level, column-free, with Hall E added in the 2003 expansion and newer dock access.
Our advice A two-day regional show usually fits one hall; we confirm the hall from the 2027 floor plan before choosing plinth weights.
Halls A3 and B3, Level 2
Level 2 exhibit space, about 223,000 sq ft between the two halls, often taken by association shows and overflow.
Our advice If the show lands upstairs, freight moves by elevator, so we size crates to fit and keep heavy cabinets on dollies.
Docks
The GRB's docks feed both exhibit levels and run apart from the attached Hilton's receiving; the downtown tunnel network does not reach the building.
Our advice We address every crate to the GRB dock rather than the hotel, so nothing ends up in the Hilton's receiving area.
05 George R. Brown Convention Center · Houston
Logistics for RE+ Texas 2027, handled
Houston's convention center spreads over two exhibit levels downtown, with its own loading docks that are not connected to the downtown tunnel system, so freight is addressed to the GRB dock. Under Texas law your employees can do the building themselves, while the dock-to-booth move stays with the exclusive contractor. RE+ Microgrids runs in the same building on the same dates, so move-in traffic covers both events. We ship a flat-packed booth, file the contractor and electrical orders, and our project manager sets it up with your team; Purple's planning estimate for GRB drayage is about $95 per hundredweight.
This building's hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines for RE+ Texas exhibitors are in our George R. Brown Convention Center exhibitor guide.
What Purple handles

- Back walls that speak to RE+ Texas and RE+ Microgrids
- Contractor, electrical and freight orders for the GRB

RE+ Texas exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before RE+ Texas
When is RE+ Texas 2027?
RE+ Texas 2027 runs Wednesday, March 24 and Thursday, March 25, 2027 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, with RE+ Microgrids on the same dates in the same building. Exhibit hall hours for 2027 are not confirmed yet.
Where is RE+ Texas held?
RE+ Events names the George R. Brown Convention Center in downtown Houston as the 2027 venue; Houston also hosted the 2026 edition. METRORail's Convention District station stops at the building and the Hilton Americas-Houston connects by skywalk.
How much does a booth at RE+ Texas cost?
Floor space for 2027 is priced at $32 a square foot if you hold SEIA Premium or SEPA membership and $37 otherwise, so a 10×10 is $3,200 or $3,700 and a 10×20 $6,400 or $7,400. Our 10×20 rental adds $7,500 to $15,000 for structure, graphics and install.
What comes with an RE+ Texas booth?
Each 10×10 package includes the space, a paper ID sign with the company name, one 6-foot draped table, two chairs, two complimentary full conference registrations, five customer invitations and the exhibitor marketing toolkit with banners and sample messages.
How do we book space at RE+ Texas?
The 2027 floor plan is live: pick an open booth, then complete the Space Application Contract from the booth link. Space goes first come, first served, and RE+ Events offers a multi-event interest form for companies booking several RE+ shows.
Can our own staff set up the booth at the GRB?
At the GRB, Texas right-to-work law means no union-only rule for booth assembly: full-time employees can put up the whole stand, per Purple's venue guide. Moving freight from the dock to the booth still goes through the show's exclusive contractor.
What is RE+ Microgrids?
RE+ Microgrids is a microgrid event covering DC and hybrid AC/DC systems, behind-the-meter and front-of-the-meter applications, supported by EMerge Alliance. In 2026 it shared the RE+ Texas expo hall, and for 2027 it is again set for March 24–25 at the George R. Brown Convention Center.
How many people attend RE+ Texas?
The 2026 RE+ Texas and RE+ Microgrids edition drew 1,500 attendees and 115+ exhibitors to Houston, and 77% of attendees had buying power. RE+ Events also describes the show as welcoming 150+ exhibitors. Figures for 2027 are not confirmed yet.
Who attends RE+ Texas?
In 2026 the top segments were manufacturers at 21% and EPC companies at 17%, followed by consultants, distributors, installers and developers. Business development led the job roles at 22%, executives and sales at 18% each; 58% of attendees came from Texas and 11% from California.
Who exhibits at RE+ Texas?
The 2026 list mixed solar, storage and grid suppliers: Indian module maker EMMVEE Photovoltaic Power, DEYE ESS, FranklinWH, Discover Energy Systems, CPS America inverters, Giga Energy transformers, ComAp microgrid controls, racking from APA Solar Racking and distributors such as ABC Supply and Graybar.
Can we hold a hospitality event during RE+ Texas?
RE+ Events' suitcasing policy bars exhibitors from hosting competing events during official show hours, keeps all marketing inside your contracted booth and requires RE+ Events to be told of hospitality suites and give consent beforehand. We plan any reception for after the floor closes.
Is RE+ Texas open to the public?
RE+ Texas is a registered trade event for the clean energy industry, and RE+ Events allows no infants or children under 18 on the exhibit floor or in education sessions. Exhibitors get two full conference passes and five customer invitations with each 10×10.
Can we use the same booth at other RE+ shows?
The RE+ regionals share one 10×10 package format, so a flat-packed booth from RE+ Texas fits RE+ Southeast in Atlanta on May 11–12, 2027 and scales into RE+ in Las Vegas in November. We store it between shows and refresh graphics for each market.
Before you sign for RE+ Texas
Five things to ask every builder quoting RE+ Texas:
- Will the proposal show every RE+ Texas fee, including show contractor charges?
- Who builds the RE+ Texas booth: your own shop or a subcontractor?
- Will your project manager be on the floor at the George R. Brown Convention Center for install and dismantle?
- What is inside the rental price, and what is billed by the show?
- Where is the booth stored after the show, and at what cost?
Common situations
