Chargers on carpet: EV Charging Summit 2027 booths in Las Vegas

We build EVCS booths where a charge point operator can stand at a live-looking dispenser, read the power rating and book an EV Connect meeting on the spot. At Caesars Forum we plan for carpeted ballrooms, Koval Lane docks and venue-exclusive rigging and power.

What makes EV Charging Summit & Expo different, and how we build for it

EV Charging Summit & Expo, now owned by Terrapinn, calls itself America's number one EV charging event and is built for buyers who deploy chargers: CPOs, site hosts, fleets and government. For 2027 it moves to Caesars Forum, with the expo in the Forum Ballroom and keynotes in the Alliance Ballroom. Two programs are new this edition: EV ChargeUp, a startup showcase that selects 70 companies, and EV Connect, three one-hour meeting sprints matched by AI with double opt-in. Charge50 honors 50 people moving the industry, revealed live on March 2, and Closed Circuit runs invite-only roundtables of 12 the day before the floor opens.

Charge point operators and site hosts

They compare uptime, payment terminals, maintenance contracts and cost per port, and want to see the dispenser screen, cable management and enclosure up close before they shortlist a hardware partner.

Fleet managers and OEM dealers

Depot charging buyers ask about power levels, load management software, utility make-ready programs and how quickly a site goes live; they bring a project with a count of vehicles and a deadline.

Utilities and government planners

They look for interconnection experience, funding compliance and grid impact data, and they respond to clear one-line diagrams and deployment maps more than to product slogans.

Your team in Las Vegas

Built in two shops, run by one project manager

Your EV Charging Summit & Expo booth is built in our own production shop in Fishkill, NY, or at our Las Vegas hub, shipped to the Caesars Forum and installed by vetted local labor with our own project manager on the floor. Predictable 30–45-day turnarounds, secure storage and pre-show QA.

Your team arrives at EV Charging Summit & Expo to a lit, stocked booth. You just show up.

New at EV Charging Summit & Expo 2027

  1. A new venue: Caesars Forum

Terrapinn moves EVCS to Caesars Forum for 2027, with every booth in the carpeted, pillarless Forum Ballroom. Structures need floor protection and lighter frames, and freight comes through the Koval Lane docks on pallet jacks. source

  2. EV ChargeUp startup showcase

Listed as new in 2027, EV ChargeUp selects 70 startups to meet charging networks, utilities, investors and automakers. Expect more early-stage companies on the floor, and partnership conversations alongside sales leads. source

  3. EV Connect meeting sprints

Also new in 2027: three dedicated one-hour blocks with no sessions, AI-suggested matches and double opt-in. Staff the booth for those hours and bring a seated meeting area, because confirmed buyers arrive on a schedule. source

EV Charging Summit & Expo rules that shape your booth

Contractors need Terrapinn's consent

Terrapinn's exhibition rules admit no contractor without its written consent and let it set construction standards and wall heights. We request the consent with our insurance certificate weeks ahead, so the install is cleared before move-in at the Forum.

Organizer rule

Electrical work by appointed contractors

Rule 21.1 sends any extra electrical work to Terrapinn's officially appointed contractors, bans overloading the power system and lets Terrapinn inspect equipment. We plan charger displays on standard booth power and order any larger circuit through the official contractor.

Organizer rule

Non-flammable booth materials

Terrapinn's rules require every material used to build, decorate or drape a stand to be non-flammable, and articles of a dangerous nature are not admitted to the hall. We ship flame certificates for every fabric graphic and keep battery modules out of display units unless approved.

Organizer rule

No sharing or co-branding space

Exhibitors may not share or co-brand their space without Terrapinn's written permission, and co-exhibitors must sign the terms. When a charger maker brings a software or installation partner, we flag the request to Terrapinn before partner logos go to print.

Organizer rule

Demonstrations at Terrapinn's discretion

Terrapinn may refuse or stop product demonstrations and set rules for audio-visual equipment, Wi-Fi and photography. We keep demos quiet and screen-based, with sound kept inside the booth, so an EVCS dispenser demo never becomes the one that gets switched off.

Popular booth sizes at EV Charging Summit & Expo

Terrapinn sells EVCS booths and sponsorship packages directly and does not publish a size list or rate card; the floor is a carpeted ballroom where hardware makers, software platforms and installers share aisles. We design to the footprint on your contract, from a 10×20 hardware wall to an island built around two dispensers.

KLEEMANN at an industrial technology exhibition

A global elevator manufacturer’s interactive booth: real product showcases, digital simulations and a floor plan that guided visitors from the first step to the last.

KLEEMANN needed real elevator products and digital simulations to guide visitors step by step; an EV charger maker at EVCS has the same job with a dispenser, its software and a buyer's site plan.

04 Designing for EV charger, power electronics, charging software and installation companies at EV Charging Summit & Expo

Four things we get right for EV Charging Summit & Expo exhibitors

Hand holding an EV charging plug at an outdoor station1

Dispensers on a ballroom floor

The Forum Ballroom is carpeted, forklifts stay at the dock and heavy units roll in on pallet jacks. A DC fast charger cabinet needs a load check and floor protection, so we build a low deck that spreads the weight and hides the cabling to your power drop.

Engineer inspecting an industrial power electronics circuit board2

Show power, not live power

Terrapinn's exhibition rules say added electrical work goes only to its appointed contractors and nothing may overload the hall's power. We dress dispensers as display units with lit screens on standard booth power, and order any larger circuit through the official contractor early.

Engineer in safety gear working on an outdoor electrical panel3

Built for EV Connect meetings

EV Connect blocks three one-hour sprints with no sessions, and sponsors get ten matched one-to-one conversations with qualified buyers. Your booth needs two seated meeting spots out of the aisle, a screen for site maps and storage for spec sheets, not a large open demo stage.

Person plugging a charging cable into an electric car at an outdoor station4

Read the dispenser from the aisle

With 300+ exhibitors per Terrapinn, many showing similar pedestals, buyers walk past look-alike hardware. We print kW rating, connector types and uptime promise on a header at 10 feet, so a CPO can tell your 400 kW unit from the next booth's without stopping.

Where you could be at EV Charging Summit & Expo 2027

Terrapinn's venue page places the EVCS expo in the Forum Ballroom and keynotes in the Alliance Ballroom at Caesars Forum, with final room assignments shared in the event app before the show.

AForum Ballroom (expo hall)
BAlliance Ballroom (keynote stage)
CForum Plaza
Caesars Forum, Las VegasSchematic, not to scale
A

Forum Ballroom (expo hall)

One of the Forum's two pillarless 110,000 sq ft ballrooms, carpeted, with freight hand-moved from the Koval Lane docks.

Our advice No columns means open sightlines; a 12-foot lit back wall reads across the room, and heavy dispensers need a deck and a load check.

B

Alliance Ballroom (keynote stage)

Keynotes, main-stage panels and general sessions run here, per Terrapinn's venue page.

Our advice Traffic surges into the expo after each keynote; we put your most visible charger on the aisle facing the keynote exit.

C

Forum Plaza

A 100,000 sq ft outdoor plaza, per Terrapinn; vehicle displays outdoors need venue permits.

Our advice If you want to show a fleet vehicle charging, ask Terrapinn about the plaza early; we handle the permit and fuel paperwork.

Logistics for EV Charging Summit & Expo 2027, handled

Caesars Forum is a ballroom building, not a concrete hall: the floors are carpeted, freight comes in from the Koval Lane docks and moves the last stretch on pallet jacks, and direct trucks need a target window because there is little room to wait. Teamsters Local 631 handles material, IATSE Local 720 handles rigging and AV, and rigging, power and internet are venue-exclusive, priced per fixed ceiling point. Terrapinn requires written consent before any contractor enters. Our Las Vegas hub is fifteen minutes from the Forum, so we stage the build locally, ships to the advance warehouse and runs install with our project manager on the floor.

Hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines for the building that hosts EV Charging Summit & Expo are in our Caesars Forum exhibitor guide.

What Purple handles

  • Weight-spreading decks for DC fast chargers
  • Display-ready dispensers on booth power
  • Seated EV Connect meeting spots
  • Contractor consent and Caesars Forum paperwork
  • Koval Lane dock targets and advance warehouse freight
  • Storage at our Las Vegas hub between shows

EV Charging Summit & Expo timeline, counted back from move-in

For EV Charging Summit & Expo, we need design sign-off by mid-December 2026.

  1. Now to early December 2026Sign your space or sponsorship with Terrapinn; send us the contract footprint, the chargers you will show and their weights.
  2. Mid-December 2026Design sign-off, about 10 weeks before move-in: dispenser layout, deck, meeting spots and graphics approved.
  3. Late December 2026 to early February 2027Production over 30 to 45 days in Fishkill, NY, with dispenser mounts and cable trays fitted before crating and staged at our Las Vegas hub.
  4. February 2027Contractor consent, electrical and rigging orders filed; freight to the advance warehouse with Koval Lane dock targets booked.
  5. Before March 2, 2027We install in the Forum Ballroom with our project manager while Closed Circuit and the Welcome Reception run on March 1.
  6. March 2–3, 2027Show floor open; the event ends early afternoon on March 3, then we dismantle and store the booth at our Las Vegas hub.

Purple's planning timeline for EV Charging Summit & Expo. Official move-in, freight target and order deadlines for EV Charging Summit & Expo come from your exhibitor kit and assigned schedule; we confirm them against your booth when you book.

EV Charging Summit & Expo exhibitor questions

Questions exhibitors ask us before EV Charging Summit & Expo

When is EV Charging Summit & Expo 2027?

EVCS 2027 runs March 1–3, 2027. March 1 is the pre-expo day with invite-only Closed Circuit roundtables from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and the Welcome Reception; Terrapinn says the show floor opens March 2, and the event ends early afternoon on March 3.

Where is EV Charging Summit 2027 held?

EVCS 2027 is held at Caesars Forum, 3911 Koval Lane, Las Vegas, a 550,000 sq ft conference center just off the Strip. Terrapinn lists the Forum Ballroom as the expo hall for every sponsor and exhibitor booth and the Alliance Ballroom for keynotes, with hall and stage assignments published closer to the show.

How much does a booth at EV Charging Summit cost?

Terrapinn sells booths and sponsorship packages directly and does not post a rate card; the prospectus and sponsorship catalog come from its sales team. Purple's side is separate: renting a 10×20 from us runs $7,500 to $15,000, and a custom 20×20 around DC fast chargers runs $50,000 to $120,000.

How many people attend EV Charging Summit?

Terrapinn lists 3,500+ attendees, 2,000+ C-suite executives, 300+ exhibitors and 200+ speakers for the 2027 edition. Its exhibit page says the event grew from 1,500 delegates and 70 sponsors in 2023, and that exhibition booths sold out in 2024, 2025 and 2026.

Who exhibits at EV Charging Summit?

The 2027 sponsor and exhibitor list includes charger makers such as Autel Energy, Alpitronic, Kempower and ABB E-mobility, power companies such as Eaton, Schneider Electric and DELTA Electronics, software platforms such as ChargeLab and Hubject, plus engineering firms, canopy builders and testing labs.

Who attends EVCS?

Terrapinn builds the event for charge point operators, site hosts and real estate owners, fleet managers, utilities, government planners, automotive OEMs, installers, investors and testing bodies. Registration is priced by organization type, with complimentary or discounted access for some operator, site host, utility, government and fleet categories.

What is new at EV Charging Summit 2027?

The venue and two programs. EVCS moves to Caesars Forum for 2027; EV ChargeUp, a startup showcase, selects 70 companies; and EV Connect adds three one-hour meeting sprints with AI matching and double opt-in, so both sides agree before each meeting is booked.

Can we run live chargers in our EVCS booth?

Terrapinn's exhibition rules route any added electrical work through its appointed contractors, forbid overloading the hall's power and let Terrapinn inspect equipment or stop a demonstration. We build dispensers as display units on standard booth power and order any larger circuit early, so nothing is decided on site.

Can we set up our own booth at Caesars Forum?

Terrapinn's rules let no contractor into the exhibition without its written consent, and Caesars Forum keeps rigging, power, internet and AV in house. Teamsters Local 631 moves freight and IATSE Local 720 rigs. We file the consent and venue certificate, and your Purple project manager runs the install with that union labor.

Can we hang a sign over our EVCS booth?

Only from the Forum's fixed ceiling points, which the in-house rigger prices per point, so the sign lands where the grid allows. We check the point map against your space first; on a 10×20, a lit header on a 12-foot back wall usually reads as well across the open ballroom.

What is the EV ChargeUp Zone?

The ChargeUp Zone is the startup area of EVCS 2027, with 10 sq ft pods for genuine startups that apply and are selected. Ten startups from the showcase pitch to a panel of investor judges, and the winner becomes EVCS Start-up of the Year 2027 with a video interview on EVCS social channels.

Where should EVCS exhibitors stay?

Terrapinn's only approved booking route is its official Passkey room block on the Accommodation page, and it warns that other offers are scams. Harrah's, The LINQ Hotel and Flamingo connect to Caesars Forum by covered walkway, and Harry Reid International Airport is a short drive away.

Can we reuse an EVCS booth at other energy shows?

A charger booth built for a carpeted ballroom travels well. The same kit fits ACT Expo, also in Las Vegas, The Battery Show South in Atlanta and RE+ in Las Vegas; our Las Vegas hub, fifteen minutes from the Forum, keeps it crated between dates.

Is EV Charging Summit worth exhibiting at?

For charger, power electronics and charging software makers selling to U.S. operators and fleets, it puts CPOs, site hosts, utilities and fleet buyers in one ballroom, and EV Connect sponsors get ten matched buyer meetings. Booth demand is high: Terrapinn reports sell-outs in 2024, 2025 and 2026.

Before you sign for EV Charging Summit & Expo

Ask any EV Charging Summit & Expo exhibit builder these five questions:

  1. Is every fee on the proposal, including what the EV Charging Summit & Expo show contractor bills?
  2. Who builds the EV Charging Summit & Expo booth: your own shop or a subcontractor?
  3. Will your project manager be on the floor at the Caesars Forum for install and dismantle?
  4. What exactly is in the rental, and what does EV Charging Summit & Expo bill?
  5. What happens to the booth after EV Charging Summit & Expo, and what does storage cost?

Common situations

Already own a booth? Bring it: we refresh the graphics, repair what is worn, ship it, install it at EV Charging Summit & Expo and store it until the next show. You keep the structure you paid for and bring it to EV Charging Summit & Expo.

Exhibiting from outside the US? For EV Charging Summit & Expo, we act as your team on the ground: freight to the advance warehouse, show-service orders, installation and storage, and one project manager who answers your emails in your time zone.

Short on time? In two to three weeks, a rental with your graphics can be ready for Las Vegas. The first call tells you what is realistic for your date.
