IMMUNOLOGY2027 booths in Los Angeles, low in front and open to the poster aisles

We design IMMUNOLOGY2027 booths so immunologists can see a cytometry plot or an antibody panel from the aisle, inside AAI's 8-foot back and 4-foot front limits. At the Los Angeles Convention Center we file island drawings by March 3 and book Local 831 labor for install.

What makes AAI IMMUNOLOGY different, and how we build for it

IMMUNOLOGY2027 is the 110th annual meeting of The American Association of Immunologists, and its exhibit hall shares the floor with the poster gallery, Exhibitor Workshops and the AAI Booth for three days, May 1 to 3.SPARGO, Inc. runs exhibit management and assigns space first come, first served. AAI's Terms and Conditions read like a scientific society's: exhibits must be educational or service in nature, claims must be truthful, and no exhibitor may pull attendees away from sessions during official hours. Distinguished Lectures by Ananda Goldrath, Gregory Barton and Nicole Baumgarth run Saturday, Sunday and Monday, Passport to Prizes draws Monday during poster hours, and attendees register in the LACC's South Lobby.

Principal investigators and core facility directors

Instrument performance they can compare to the cytometer or imager already in their core, service terms, and a quote that matches a grant or core budget.

Postdocs and graduate students

Antibody panels, reagents and protocols they can use next week, sample data for their cell type and a person who has actually run the assay.

Industry and government immunologists

Research models, custom antibody and assay services, and enough detail on validation and lot consistency to bring a supplier into a regulated program.

AAI IMMUNOLOGY rules that shape your booth

Inline height: 8 back, 4 front

Standard IMMUNOLOGY2027 booths allow 8 feet only in the rear half, with a 4-foot limit forward to the aisle; linear booths keep end units to that rule and hanging signs are not allowed. We draw every inline to those lines before printing.

Organizer rule

Islands: 20 feet, 40 percent open

Island displays and structural hanging signs top out at 20 feet with 40 percent see-through front to back and side to side; multi-level booths are not permitted and drawings are due March 3, 2027. We submit drawings with heights marked.

Organizer rule

Exhibits must teach or serve research

AAI requires exhibits of an educational or service nature for teaching and research, truthful claims and no disparaging comparisons; sales are allowed in the hall by check or card, never cash. We write graphics that state data, not rival-bashing.

Organizer rule

One-color carpet, no balloons

Every booth floor must be covered with clean, single-color carpet or flooring, helium balloons are prohibited and LACC structures over 12 feet need permit review. We supply the carpet and file the permit work with the drawings.

Organizer rule

No photos of other booths

Exhibitors may photograph their own booth but not others' without written permission, and attendees may photograph posters only with the author's consent. We schedule your booth photography at opening, before the aisles fill.

Popular booth sizes at AAI IMMUNOLOGY

AAI sells IMMUNOLOGY2027 space in 10×10 units that combine into larger inlines and islands, and bans end-caps. Antibody and reagent companies mostly take 10×20 inlines; instrument makers take islands for cytometers. We recommend a 10×20 for reagents and a 20×20 island when an instrument runs live.

04 Designing for flow cytometry, antibody, reagent, cell analysis and research model companies at AAI IMMUNOLOGY

Four things we get right for AAI IMMUNOLOGY exhibitors

Lab worker in a hairnet and mask at a lit microscope stage1

Four feet in front, eight at back

AAI limits standard inline booths to 8 feet only in the rear half and 4 feet forward to the aisle. Panel charts and video go high on the rear wall, and the aisle half stays a low counter, so immunologists read your data over it.

Gloved hand holding a petri dish of red colonies on a white surface2

Islands open to 40 percent

IMMUNOLOGY2027 islands may reach 20 feet but must keep 40 percent visibility front to back and side to side, and AAI bans two-story booths. We use open frames and a structural hanging sign, then send drawings to SPARGO before March 3, 2027.

Close view of a bearded scientist in glasses looking into a microscope eyepiece3

Show the cytometry plot, not the box

Visitors here are bench immunologists who think in gating strategies and cell populations. We give your best flow plot or imaging result the largest graphic in the booth, with the panel, clone and fluorochrome printed beside it.

Two researchers in white lab coats working side by side at a long wooden lab bench4

Workshops fill the booth afterwards

Exhibitor Workshops pull a seated audience into a room, then send it back to the floor. We build a small standing area with a second screen so the people who saw your workshop can ask follow-up questions without crowding the aisle.

Where you could be at AAI IMMUNOLOGY 2027

AAI has not published which LACC hall IMMUNOLOGY2027 uses. These are the halls this building uses for exhibitions, and what each means for a booth while the Olympic expansion is underway.

ASouth Hall
BWest Hall
CKentia Hall
Los Angeles Convention Center, Los AngelesSchematic, not to scale
A

South Hall

About 347,000 square feet, added in 1993 and now being connected to West Hall in the Olympic expansion.

Our advice Construction changes dock routes, so we confirm the South Hall freight door with the contractor before the trucks are booked.

B

West Hall

The older of the two big halls; once linked with South Hall it forms a single floor of over 750,000 square feet.

Our advice A joined hall means longer walks from registration in the South Lobby, so a tall island sign matters more for finding you.

C

Kentia Hall

About 160,000 square feet, finished in 1997 and used for mid-size shows.

Our advice If AAI places the exhibits here, ceiling and access differ from the main halls, so we size the hanging sign to the hall once it is named.

05 Los Angeles Convention Center · Los Angeles

Logistics for AAI IMMUNOLOGY 2027, handled

The Los Angeles Convention Center at 1201 South Figueroa Street puts booth installation under Local 831, so we hire those crews through the official contractor named in AAI's Exhibitor Service Kit, which arrives in February 2027. The center has 720,000 square feet across five exhibit halls, with South and West Halls being joined in the Olympic expansion, so we route freight to the dock the floor plan assigns. Drayage enters our budget near $175 for each hundred pounds. AAI wants the booth floor fully carpeted in one color, a booth staffed through all hall hours and nothing dismantled early.

AAI IMMUNOLOGY exhibitors can find this building's hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines in our Los Angeles Convention Center exhibitor guide.

What Purple handles

  • Booth design inside AAI's 8-foot and 4-foot inline limits
  • Island drawings and see-through planning for the March 3 deadline
  • Service Kit orders, carpet and Local 831 labor at the LACC
  • Freight to the advance warehouse and dock scheduling
  • On-site build and teardown run by our project manager
  • Storage and graphics swaps for your next immunology meeting

AAI IMMUNOLOGY exhibitor questions

Questions exhibitors ask us before AAI IMMUNOLOGY

How much does a booth at IMMUNOLOGY2027 cost?

AAI's booth rates go out in the prospectus SPARGO sends on request, so space is quoted to you. For the booth itself, an antibody or reagent company usually spends $7,500 to $15,000 on a 10×20 rental, and a cytometer island starts around $50,000 custom. LACC union labor and Olympic-expansion freight routing move the number most.

What is the deadline for IMMUNOLOGY2027 exhibitors?

Applications made after October 28, 2026 are due in full on receipt, and the Exhibitor Service Kit with advance-order discounts arrives in February 2027. Island booth models or drawings are due to AAI Exhibit Management by March 3, 2027. We ask for design approval by mid-January to meet that date.

Can we rent a booth for the AAI annual meeting?

We rent complete inlines and islands for IMMUNOLOGY2027: back wall graphics at AAI's 8-foot limit, a 4-foot front counter, one-color carpet as AAI requires, lighting, monitor mounts and lockable storage, with shipping and both labor calls priced together. AAI's fee covers the drape, side rails and identification sign.

Can our own staff set up our booth at the Los Angeles Convention Center?

Booth installation at the LACC falls under Local 831, and how much an exhibitor may set up by hand depends on each show's rules. We read AAI's Service Kit when it arrives in February, tell you exactly what your team may do by hand, and book union labor for the rest.

Can we hold an event or demo during IMMUNOLOGY2027?

Demos must stay inside your booth space, and AAI forbids events, meetings or invitations that draw attendees away from the exhibit hall or scientific sessions during official hours. Gatherings in the booth need written approval from AAI Exhibit Management. Exhibitor Workshops and sponsored coffee breaks are the approved routes.

What does drayage cost at the LACC, and who pays it?

The exhibitor pays, by weight. For the LACC we budget near $175 per hundredweight in 2026–27, with 200 pounds as the floor; AAI's exact tariff arrives in its Service Kit. Padded cytometer crates weigh a lot, which is why that charge is listed separately when we quote.

Which LACC hall will IMMUNOLOGY2027 use?

AAI has not published the hall; it is not confirmed yet. The LACC's exhibit space spans South Hall, West Hall and Kentia Hall, and South and West Halls are being joined in the Olympic expansion, so we plan freight once the floor plan assigns your booth.

Can an IMMUNOLOGY2027 booth be reused at other meetings?

The same inline walls fit the 10×10 grids of ASBMB in Boston and ASM Microbe in Chicago, and SITC in the fall. We keep the frames in storage between meetings and reprint graphics when your panel or product line changes.

When is IMMUNOLOGY2027?

IMMUNOLOGY2027 runs Friday, April 30 to Tuesday, May 4, 2027, and the exhibit hall is open Saturday, May 1 to Monday, May 3. Hall hours for 2027 are not confirmed yet. The following meeting, IMMUNOLOGY2028, is April 30 to May 4, 2028 in San Antonio.

Where is IMMUNOLOGY2027 held?

The meeting fills the LACC on South Figueroa Street in downtown Los Angeles, near Metro's Pico Station on the A and E Lines. On-site registration is in the South Lobby, and onPeak is the only official hotel provider.

How many people attend IMMUNOLOGY, the AAI annual meeting?

Just under 4,000 attendees and exhibitors came to IMMUNOLOGY2026 in Boston, per AAI. The meeting drew more than 4,500 at IMMUNOLOGY2025 in Honolulu, more than 4,300 at IMMUNOLOGY2024 in Chicago and more than 4,100 at IMMUNOLOGY2023 in Washington, D.C.

Can we hang a sign over our IMMUNOLOGY2027 booth?

Only an island can. AAI's 2027 terms allow hanging signs that are part of an island's structure, measured to the same 20-foot limit as the rest of the island, with drawings due March 3, 2027. Standard inline booths may not hang signs and stay at 8 feet in the rear half.

Is IMMUNOLOGY2027 open to the public?

IMMUNOLOGY2027 is a registered scientific meeting, not a public event: anyone visiting sessions or the Exhibit Hall must be a registered attendee, children under 13 may not enter, and no one under 18 is allowed in the hall during installation or dismantle. Exhibitors get four Exhibit Hall Only badges per 100 square feet.

How do I get a booth at IMMUNOLOGY2027?

Reserve exhibit space on the IMMUNOLOGY2027 exhibitor site run by SPARGO, Inc., AAI's exhibit management firm, and request the prospectus there. AAI accepts or denies applications and assigns space first come, first served.
