NABCEP CE Conference 2027Mobile booth costs, dates and deadlines: exhibitor guide

The 2027 conference runs Monday, March 15 through Thursday, March 18, 2027. Monday holds pre-conference sessions, Ignite Sessions, the keynote at 6 p.m. and the opening reception; Tuesday and Wednesday sessions start at 9 a.m. and close at 6 p.m., and Thursday runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

NABCEP brings the 2027 conference to the Arthur R. Outlaw Mobile Convention Center, 1 South Water Street, Mobile, Alabama, its first conference in the state. The building sits on the Mobile River in downtown Mobile, the Port City NABCEP calls the birthplace of Mardi Gras.

Exhibitor set-up is Monday, March 15 from noon to 6 p.m., and tear-down is Thursday, March 18 from 1 to 6 p.m., per NABCEP's preliminary schedule. Exhibit hall open hours for 2027 are not confirmed yet; we plan the build around those two windows.

NABCEP booth and sponsorship rates for 2027 are not confirmed yet; they come in the Exhibitor Kit linked from the Cvent event page. On our side, a Purple 10×20 rental with a roof mock-up typically runs $7,500 to $15,000, and graphics and counters sized to a smaller assigned space cost less.

Board Certified Professionals can earn up to 24 CE hours toward recertification, PV Associates can earn the 12 CE units they need to renew, and noncertified professionals can earn up to 18 hours toward Board Certification, per NABCEP's 2027 event page.

NABCEP lists Board Certified Professionals, Associate Credential holders, instructors and trainers, subject matter experts and committee members, plus manufacturers of inverters, mounting, batteries and storage, panels, safety gear and software, and distributor suppliers. Content is aimed at experienced PV and storage professionals.

Attendance for NABCEP CE 2027 is not confirmed yet. NABCEP's own recaps counted over 450 solar professionals and 52 exhibitors at the 2017 conference in Dallas, and over 400 attendees with 39 exhibitors in Albany in 2015; in 2019 NABCEP said San Diego booths were almost sold out.

NABCEP lists BayWa r.e. as Platinum sponsor, Scanifly, SolarInsure and EnergySage as Preferred Partners, and Diamond sponsors including Rolls Battery, Megger, SMA and Greentech Renewables, with Sungrow, Sol-Ark, FranklinWH, Fluke, Unirac and others in lower tiers. Sponsors are recognized on NABCEP's website for a full year.

Exhibit space and sponsorships go through NABCEP's conference planner and the Exhibitor Kit linked from the Cvent event page. In 2019 NABCEP reported exhibition booths almost sold out, so we suggest requesting the kit in November and holding a spot before designing anything larger than a counter.

We rent modular frames with printed fabric, counters, lighting and product stands sized to the footprint NABCEP assigns, and add custom pieces such as a roof mock-up or wiring bench. The rental ships from Fishkill, NY, and our project manager installs it during Monday's set-up window.

NABCEP presents the Walt Ratterman Award at the 2027 conference in Mobile, honoring the Board Certified Professional with the most creative public service renewable energy project of the year; NABCEP donates $500 to the winner's charity. Nominations close Tuesday, December 1, 2026.

The Scanifly FAA Part 107 drone course returns for 2027 with separate registration, and Monday adds pre-conference sessions from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Ignite Sessions from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. and a Meet n Greet before the keynote. Lunches and Tuesday and Wednesday dinners keep attendees in the building.

For makers whose product an installer chooses on the roof, it puts certified installers, designers and trainers in a small room for four days, which a large hall show cannot. Brands chasing developers or utility buyers do better at RE+ or Intersolar & Energy Storage North America.
