Color bars and fade chairs: Premiere San Antonio 2027 booths that sell

Texas and Southwest stylists, barbers and nail techs come to Premiere San Antonio to learn, compete and stock up on show deals. We build color bars and barber chairs that draw a crowd, retail walls that refill fast and a booth that goes up fast in Hall 3.

What makes Premiere San Antonio different, and how we build for it

Premiere San Antonio presented by SalonCentric is the youngest stop of the Premiere Shows network. The fourth show in August 2026 drew over 12,000 professional and student visits, up 30% on 2025, with more than 130 exhibitors on a floor 21% larger than the year before. SalonCentric became the first presenting partner in Premiere's more than 30 years, bringing Redken, Color Wow, Biolage, Bumble and bumble and Living Proof into its pavilion. The floor mixes the Color Stage, the Demo Stage, The Value Center for Pros, Ulta Beauty experiences, Nailympia and the Pro and Student Barber Battles, and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation sends a team to answer license questions.

Texas stylists and colorists

Many come for the Texas-approved CE hours and stay for the Color Stage. They want to watch a formula go on, ask about developer and processing time, and buy the kit at show price.

Barbers and barbering students

The Pro and Student Barber Battles bring crowds that want clippers, trimmers, shears and finishing products they can hold and test. Students compare prices hard and buy starter kits.

Salon owners and SalonCentric customers

Owners look for backbar, retail lines and services that fit what they already buy through SalonCentric. They need a short pitch, a volume price and a contact for follow-up.

Premiere San Antonio rules that shape your booth

Flooring required in every booth

Premiere's 2026 exhibitor FAQ for San Antonio says booths do not include carpet and all booths must have flooring, rented from Freeman or supplied by the exhibitor. Every Purple booth here ships with its own floor and anti-fatigue mats at the chairs.

Organizer rule

Self-unloading without material handling equipment

Exhibitors may unload their own vehicles at a designated self-unloading area as long as no forklifts, pallet jacks or flatbeds are used. Anything heavier comes in with our freight through the official contractor.

Organizer rule

Printed show badges for setup

Premiere moved to printed show badges in 2025, and you must have your printed pass to set up on the show floor. We register our project manager through your staff allocation before move-in.

Organizer rule

Models hired by the exhibitor

Exhibitors hire their own models for booth demonstrations, and Premiere lists modeling agencies in its services kit. We plan a changing corner and model seating out of the aisle for hair and makeup brands.

French Avenue at a fragrance and beauty trade show

A premium fragrance environment built around discovery, with a flow designed for real conversations and product sampling.

French Avenue asked for a premium fragrance space where discovery turned into a purchase; on the San Antonio floor a color bar or barber chair does the same job, letting pros try before they buy at the counter.

04 Designing for professional hair color, barber, nail and spa brands at Premiere San Antonio

Four things we get right for Premiere San Antonio exhibitors

Nail polish swatch tips hanging in rows in a beauty salon1

A color bar people can see from the aisle

The Color Stage made color the 2026 headline in San Antonio. We build an open mixing bar with bowls, brushes and swatch rings at counter height, high color-rendering light around 4000 kelvin, and a mirror angled so the aisle can watch the foils go in.

Barber using a straight razor to sharpen a fade on a client2

Barber chairs for battle-day crowds

The Pro and Student Barber Battles pull barbers to the floor. A chair on the corner with a lit backdrop, clipper charging dock and a hair-catch mat lets your educator cut while the crowd films, without blocking the booth next door.

Hairdresser brushing color onto hair sections over foil in a salon3

Fast checkout for a buying crowd

Premiere reports that 93% of San Antonio attendees buy on the floor and 56% spend over $250. We design a cash wrap with two card terminals, prepacked show-special kits behind the counter and a pickup shelf, so the line moves during class breaks.

Hands of a nail technician applying polish during a salon manicure4

Introduce the brand to first-timers

Premiere says 66% of San Antonio attendees are new to the show, and the floor grows each year. We give first-time visitors a one-line brand promise at eye level, a hero product on a lit plinth and a QR code to an education video they can watch after the class rush.

Our advice High ceilings make a lit header or tall graphic visible across the hall; we keep it within Premiere's height rules once the 2027 kit is out.

B

Color Stage and Demo Stage

The Color Stage and the Demo Stage, introduced in 2026, put color and technique demos in front of the floor crowd.

Our advice We point your demo chair toward stage traffic and schedule your own demos between stage sessions.

C

Competition areas

Nailympia and the Pro and Student Barber Battles ran live on the floor in 2026, with crowds gathering around each round.

Our advice Tool and nail brands near a competition area should plan extra staff and stock for the hour after each final.

05 Henry B. González Convention Center · San Antonio

Logistics for Premiere San Antonio 2027, handled

Premiere San Antonio runs in Hall 3 of the Henry B. González Convention Center, where, Texas being a right-to-work state, a Premiere exhibitor's own full-time employees may assemble a booth of any size with hand or power tools, and the Premiere FAQ allows exhibitors to unload their own vehicles without forklifts or pallet jacks. Freeman served as decorator for carpet in 2026, while electricity is ordered from the convention center. Freight reaches the docks on the HemisFair side of the building, away from the River Walk. Purple's planning figure for material handling here is about $95 per hundredweight, among the lowest in the country, so we put the budget into lighting and fixtures.

Premiere San Antonio exhibitors can find this building's hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines in our Henry B. González Convention Center exhibitor guide.
