One draped table, an island grid: RE+ Hawaii 2027 booth kits for Honolulu

At RE+ Hawai'i every exhibitor gets the same 10×10 with a 6-foot draped table, so we build a tabletop kit that tells your storage or solar story to island installers in one glance. It packs for the flight to Honolulu and sets up inside the 'Alohilani Resort without a crate.

What makes RE+ Hawaii different, and how we build for it

RE+ Hawai'i is the island edition of the RE+ events run by SEIA and SEPA, and it is built around one policy target: Hawaii's 100% renewable portfolio standard by 2045, the first in the nation.Sessions cover siting, resilience, incentives and workforce, and the 2026 program ran pre-conference workshops, a RE+ Business Lab on microgrids at the grid edge and an on-site networking reception. Batteries topped the 2026 technology interest list at 86%, ahead of solar at 76% and microgrids at 56%. The exhibit floor is small and uniform: every company buys the same 10×10 with a draped table in the 'Alohilani Resort, so the conversation, not the build, decides who wins the room.

Hawaii installers and contractors

Installer/contractor was the top 2026 segment. They want storage and inverter products that pass island interconnection rules, stock they can get on Oahu or the neighbor islands, and a local support contact.

EPCs, developers and consultants

They are sizing utility-scale and community projects toward the 2045 target and ask about battery duration, microgrid controls, warranty terms and how equipment holds up in salt air.

Mainland executives and manufacturers

17% of 2026 attendees came from California; executives and business developers use the event to meet Hawaii partners, distributors and utility contacts they cannot reach at the Las Vegas show.

Your team in Honolulu

Two shops behind your RE+ Hawaii booth

For RE+ Hawaii, we build in our own shop in Fishkill, NY, and at our Las Vegas hub, ship to the 'Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach, and put our own project manager on the floor with vetted local labor for the install. Turnaround is a predictable 30 to 45 days, with pre-show QA and secure storage for your RE+ Hawaii booth.

Your staff walks onto the RE+ Hawaii floor and the booth is already lit and stocked. You just show up.

RE+ Hawaii rules that shape your booth

One package: 10×10 and a table

RE+ Hawai'i sells a 10×10 with one 6-foot draped table, two chairs and a paper ID sign, booked first come, first served. We build a tabletop riser and fabric backdrop sized to that package rather than a floor booth.

Organizer rule

Marketing stays inside your space

RE+ Events bans suitcasing and outboarding: staff may not promote outside the contracted space, and materials left on conference tables can be discarded and the booth cancelled without refund. We put the literature and QR cards on your table.

Organizer rule

Hospitality suites need consent

Any hospitality suite must be reported to RE+ Events and approved before the event, which matters in a resort where suites sit a few floors above the ballroom. We hold suite graphics until approval comes through.

Organizer rule

Member rate needs SEIA or SEPA

The $3,200 rate applies to SEIA premium members and SEPA members; everyone else pays $3,700 for the same table. We note on your proposal which rate you qualify for so the total matches your RE+ invoice.

A structured, powerful booth for a global engineering group founded in 1865, built to communicate scale, trust and engineering excellence.

Different scale, same audience problem: Shapoorji Pallonji needed engineering buyers to trust it at a glance, and a Honolulu tabletop has one 6-foot table to earn that trust.

04 Designing for solar, battery storage, inverter and microgrid suppliers selling into Hawaii at RE+ Hawaii

Four things we get right for RE+ Hawaii exhibitors

Modern home with rooftop solar panels surrounded by a lush garden1

Lead with storage for island grids

Batteries drew 86% interest at RE+ Hawai'i 2026, more than solar. Put a storage module, its spec card and a short islanding or backup story at the front of the table, and keep panels as the supporting act.

Solar panel array set among green trees under a clear blue sky2

A table that fits a suitcase

With one 6-foot draped table per exhibitor, we design a kit that folds into airline cases: a riser, a lit header and a pop-up fabric wall. Your team checks it in on the flight and builds it in the Alohilani Ballroom in under an hour.

Utility worker climbing a pole above green tropical trees for line maintenance3

Keep everything inside the 10×10

RE+ rules keep all marketing within the contracted space and ban leaving materials on conference tables. We give you a counter-height display and a QR card stand so session attendees come to the table instead of you going to them.

Supervisor in a hardhat reviewing plans with a technician beside solar panels4

Show resilience in Hawaii terms

Sessions in 2026 covered FEOC rules, recycling in the middle of the Pacific and load growth from the digital economy. Graphics that answer those exact questions, sourcing, end of life, demand, read faster than generic clean-energy imagery.

Logistics for RE+ Hawaii 2027, handled

RE+ Hawai'i runs inside a Waikiki resort hotel, not a convention hall, so the exhibit is hand-carried freight. The 2027 floor plan sits in the Alohilani Ballroom, and the package already includes the draped table and chairs, so there is no furniture to rent. We build the tabletop kit in our Fishkill, NY shop, pack it into airline-size cases with labeled contents, and send it with your team or ahead by air. On site your staff set up in minutes; parking is $15 self or $20 valet each event day, with a parking desk beside registration.

What Purple handles

  • Tabletop kits sized to the 6-foot draped table
  • Airline-case packing with setup cards
  • Fabric backdrops and lit headers
  • Battery and inverter sample mounts
  • Graphics reused at RE+ Northeast and Las Vegas
  • Storage at our Las Vegas hub between shows

RE+ Hawaii exhibitor questions

Questions exhibitors ask us before RE+ Hawaii

When is RE+ Hawaii 2027?

RE+ Hawai'i 2027 runs Tuesday and Wednesday, January 26–27, 2027, at the 'Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach in Honolulu. Hours for the exhibit tables in 2027 are not confirmed yet. The 2026 edition ran January 27–28, 2026 and drew 450 attendees.

Where is RE+ Hawaii 2027 held?

The 2027 event is at the 'Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach, 2490 Kalakaua Avenue, Honolulu. The organizer's 2027 floor plan places the exhibits in the Alohilani Ballroom, and the conference sessions run in the same resort.

How much does it cost to exhibit at RE+ Hawaii?

The 2027 exhibit package costs $3,200 for SEIA premium members or SEPA members and $3,700 for nonmembers. It covers a 10×10 space, one 6-foot draped table, two chairs, a paper ID sign, two full conference registrations and five customer invites. Our tabletop kit is priced separately on a fixed proposal.

What booth sizes does RE+ Hawaii sell?

RE+ Hawai'i sells only one exhibit format, a 10×10 package with a 6-foot draped table, booked first come, first served on the Map Your Show floor plan. Companies that want more presence buy a sponsorship tier rather than a bigger space, so we design for the table, not for an island.

How many people attend RE+ Hawaii?

The 2026 edition drew 450 attendees and 30+ exhibitors, with 80% of attendees reporting buying power, per the organizer's post-show report. For 2027 the event page cites 650+ attendees and 50+ regional and national exhibiting companies.

Who attends RE+ Hawaii?

Installers and contractors were the largest 2026 segment, followed by EPCs, consultants, manufacturers, distributors and developers. Executives made up 17% of job roles and business development 16%. Most came from Hawaii (55%), with California next at 17%.

Who organizes RE+ Hawaii?

RE+ Events, the trade name of Solar Energy Trade Shows, produces it for the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA). The organizer says all proceeds go back into the industry, and SEIA and SEPA members get attendance discounts.

Can we sponsor RE+ Hawaii instead of exhibiting?

Sponsorship tiers for 2027 run from Watt at $2,500 to Terawatt at $12,500, with conference passes and logo placement; Terawatt adds one attendee email. Single items include the lanyard and hotel key card at $10,000 each and the Exhibit Hall Happy Hour at $7,500.

Can we hand out materials outside our table?

RE+ Events requires all marketing to stay within the contracted exhibit space and bans placing materials on conference tables or promoting outside the booth. Show management can remove materials and cancel the booth without refund, so we put the handout display on your table.

Can we host a hospitality suite at the 'Alohilani during RE+ Hawaii?

RE+ Events must be told about any hospitality suite and give consent before the event. We design suite graphics and a compact display for a client dinner or suite once the organizer approves it.

Where do RE+ Hawaii exhibitors stay?

The official block is at the 'Alohilani Resort itself at $279 a night plus 17.96% tax, with a cutoff of Thursday, December 10, 2026 at noon HST. Daniel K. Inouye International Airport is about 8.1 miles away, roughly 25 minutes by car.

How do we get a booth display to Honolulu?

Because the exhibit is a table in a resort ballroom, we build a kit that travels as checked bags or by air freight, with no crate to receive or store at the hotel. It goes up by hand with no tools, and we ship it home after the show.

Is RE+ Hawaii worth exhibiting at?

It suits companies that sell solar, storage or microgrid products into Hawaii: 55% of the 2026 audience was local, and batteries drew 86% interest. Mainland brands with no Hawaii channel get more reach at the national RE+ in Las Vegas.

Before you sign for RE+ Hawaii

Five things to ask every builder quoting RE+ Hawaii:

  1. Is every fee on the proposal, including what the RE+ Hawaii show contractor bills?
  2. Does your own shop build the booth, or do you subcontract it?
  3. Will your project manager be on the floor at the 'Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach for install and dismantle?
  4. What exactly is in the rental, and what does RE+ Hawaii bill?
  5. Once RE+ Hawaii closes, where does the booth go and what does storage cost?

Common situations

Already own a booth? We refresh the graphics, repair what is worn, ship it to the 'Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach, install it and store it between shows. You keep the structure you paid for and bring it to RE+ Hawaii.

Exhibiting from outside the US? We are your team on the ground: freight to the advance warehouse, show-service orders, installation and storage, with one project manager answering your emails in your time zone.

Short on time? In two to three weeks, a rental with your graphics can be ready for Honolulu. On the first call, we tell you what is realistic for RE+ Hawaii.
