MT Series WEST 2027Booth costs, dates and deadlines: the Long Beach exhibitor guide

Space first: SME's 2027 rates run $42 per square foot in Bronze down to $36 in Platinum, so a 20×20 Silver island is $16,000 of space. A Purple 20×20 rental runs $16,000 to $40,000, a custom island $50,000 to $120,000. Machine freight, rigging beyond the first spot, power and air move the total most.

SME has published no 2027 form deadline yet; its exhibit page says early signers choose positions first, and corner and main-aisle spaces go fast. We need design sign-off in early September 2027 for a 30 to 45 day build, earlier if a machine builder has to release a demo unit.

A WEST rental from us brings the frame, printed graphics, LED lighting, a parts wall with lockable storage and a quote counter sized to sit beside your machine, plus freight, install and dismantle on one fixed proposal. Your machine ships separately from the builder; we coordinate its arrival so the walls go up around it.

The building supports union labor, and the show's general service contractor performs exhibit construction, rigging and freight movement under local union jurisdiction. Your engineers commission and run the machine; we order the labor the rules require and lead that crew ourselves, so nobody on your team is waiting at the dock.

From the Silver tier up, 201 square feet and larger, SME includes unloading, delivery to the booth, one-time equipment spotting with cranes, and removal of empties. Re-spotting a machine costs extra, so we fix the machine position in the drawing before it arrives. Bronze booths pay material handling separately.

For Silver, Gold and Platinum booths SME's package covers it. For a Bronze 10×20, our Long Beach planning number is roughly $170 per hundredweight, 200 pounds minimum, for 2026–27; the contractor's 2027 tariff sets the final rate. We weigh crates, consolidate and list the estimate as its own line.

SME has not published a 2027 floor plan, so the hall is not confirmed yet. The Long Beach Convention Center's three exhibition halls combine into 224,000 contiguous square feet, with Hall A and Hall B served from the North Dock and Hall C from the South Dock. We plan your machine freight once the booth number is set.

We build the parts wall, counters and frames to travel. The same kit can open at MT Series EAST in West Springfield in May 2027, go to SOUTHEAST in Greenville or SOUTHWEST in Dallas, then close the year in Long Beach, with graphics swapped for each region's industries.

We do. When SME opens the 2027 exhibitor kit we order labor, electrical, compressed air, rigging and any carpet the package does not cover, file the machine data, and send you one list of every order with its price.

Tuesday, November 16 to Thursday, November 18, 2027 in Long Beach, California, per SME. It is the last of four 2027 MT Series events: EAST runs May 11–13, SOUTHEAST October 19–21 and SOUTHWEST November 2–4. Daily hours are not confirmed yet.

At the Long Beach Convention Center, 300 East Ocean Boulevard, on the downtown waterfront. The 2025 edition ran in Anaheim, so returning exhibitors should plan new freight and hotel routes; Long Beach Airport is about 10 minutes away and LAX 30 to 45 minutes, depending on traffic.

SME's 2025 post-event report for WEST in Anaheim counts 7,000 total attendance, 331 exhibiting companies, 214 new product displays and 23,000 leads scanned. Across all four 2025 MT Series events SME reports 25,000+ attendees. Attendance for 2027 is not confirmed yet.
