MJBizCon is the yearly business show for the licensed cannabis trade, and it fills the Las Vegas Convention Center every December. Purple Exhibits supplies MJBizCon booth staff for the companies that sell to that trade: packaging makers, extraction and lab equipment firms, retail software, and business service providers. Our people greet visitors, scan badges, host buyer meetings and run your scripted demo, at $85 an hour each with a four-hour minimum. The 2026 show runs Tuesday through Friday, December 1–4, and the expo hall is open the last three days. The crew lives in Las Vegas, so your invoice carries no flights, hotel rooms or travel fees. The show admits guests aged 21 and up, and every staffer we send meets that rule. Product, dosing and compliance questions always go to your own licensed team; our job is to bring the right buyer to them.

Reps and presenters from real Purple Exhibits booths. Calm at a counter, quick at a demo table and clear about when to hand a buyer to your team.

A rep in a black sheer top and gold layers shows a piece across a lit glass case. She listens first, then walks the buyer through what is in front of them.

A presenter in a black polo passes small samples down a white demo table. Three visitors try them at once, and nobody waits for a turn.
Aisle greeter (top of page). A brand ambassador in a fitted black-and-orange logo dress stands beside a white branded counter, badge on, ready to greet the next visitor. That steady, friendly first hello is the job we bring to MJBizCon.

Seven areas a mid-size MJBizCon booth often has and who stands at each. Select an area to read the job.
Example 20×30 booth, not to scale. We redraw it on your real floor plan once you have a booth number.
The wall shows your containers, pouches and labels. A greeter invites buyers to pick up a sample package and then hands real questions about materials and rules to your own product team.
Dispensary owners want to see the checkout and menu screens. A demo host gathers a small group, starts the scripted walk-through you wrote and calls your specialist when a buyer asks about integrations.
Machines stay switched off unless your own technician runs them. Our host keeps the rope line tidy, scans each badge and books a follow-up slot with your engineer.
Hosted buyers and multi-state operators arrive on a schedule. A hostess checks the list, seats each guest, offers water and tells your sales lead who has arrived.
Every visit is recorded here. A booth rep with a tablet scans the badge and tags the visitor as retailer, cultivator, processor, brand or investor before the details go to sales.
Brochures, sample packaging and chargers. One person restocks during the quiet hour after lunch and keeps the closet locked.
The open edge of the booth. A greeter says hello, asks one question about what the visitor runs and points them to the wall, the kiosk or the scan counter.

The show floor is grouped into four areas, each with its own kind of buyer. We brief the crew for the one you are in.
Lighting, growing media, nutrients and climate gear. Buyers are growers who ask detailed questions, so the greeter finds out the size of their operation and brings your agronomist over.
Extraction systems, fillers, child-resistant packaging and testing labs. Machines run only with your technician present; our host keeps the line orderly and books follow-ups.
Point-of-sale software, menus, displays and store fixtures. Dispensary owners want to see the screens, so a demo host runs a short, repeatable walk-through.
Banking, software, compliance tools, staffing and consulting. Talks go deep quickly, so the rep’s main job is to book a real meeting with your team.
This is a regulated industry, so the line between our crew and your team is drawn before doors open. Our people start the conversation; your licensed staff finish it.
We write your hand-off rule into the crew brief and read it aloud at the Tuesday walkthrough. Want reps who do nothing but capture and tag leads? See our badge scanning and lead capture staff. For meeting tables and suites, our trade show hostesses and buyer meeting hosts keep the schedule moving.
One pre-show day and three expo days, the last one short. Crew call is an hour before the hall opens, so stations are stocked and scanners are logged in.
Pre-show certification courses run during the day. Once your booth is built, the crew meets your team, learns each station and tests the scanners.
Opening day. A first-timers open house runs before the hall opens. Greeters set the pace early and reps scan every first visit.
The full middle day. The buyer table runs back-to-back meetings while demo hosts keep the walk-through on its loop.
Short last day. Final follow-ups get booked, the lead list is checked with your team, and the crew helps pack the booth.
Expo hours as listed for 2026 in published show guides. Your exhibitor manual has the final times; if they change, we move call times to match.

Ambassadors work the booth edge, start conversations and steer each visitor to the station that fits their business.
Reps scan every badge on your lead app and tag the visitor as retailer, cultivator, processor, brand or investor.
Presenters run your approved demo on a screen or tabletop, gather a small group and call your specialist for detail.

Five roles that packaging, extraction and retail tech exhibitors book most often for MJBizCon. Each one greets, scans or hosts, hands product questions to your licensed team, and bills $85 an hour.

A presenter on a headset mic who runs your scripted walk-through at the demo screen and calls your specialist for the detailed questions.

An ambassador who scans every visitor badge at the aisle so each conversation becomes a lead your sales team can follow up.

A host at your packaging or equipment station who gathers a small group and keeps the line orderly while your technician runs the machine.

A hostess who runs your client lounge or meeting suite, checks the buyer list and seats each guest on time.

A rep with a tablet who asks your qualifying questions and tags retailers, operators and brands before they leave.

In 2025 the expo filled the Central and North Halls. Our Las Vegas Convention Center venue guide covers the halls, loading docks and labor rules. December is a busy month in this town: exhibitors who also attend AWS re:Invent booth staffing the same week can use one Purple contact for both, and the crew that works the SEMA Show in the same convention center each November knows these halls well.

A 21+ show. MJBizCon admits guests aged 21 and up. Every person we place at the show and at your evening events meets that rule, and door hosts check ID at private receptions.
