The short answer

G2E 2027 staffing at a glance

At G2E, a slot director decides in about a minute whether your cabinet is worth a second look, so the person standing next to it matters. Purple Exhibits supplies G2E booth staff who live in Las Vegas: slot floor hosts, table demo hosts, kiosk hosts, systems presenters, trade show models, lounge hostesses and reps at the lead desk. The price is the same for each of them: $85 an hour per person, and each shift runs at least four hours. Because the crew is local, your invoice carries no flights, hotel nights or travel fees. The next edition, G2E 2027, runs September 27–30, 2027, at The Venetian Expo, and the show returns to Las Vegas every year. Book five to six weeks ahead for the deepest bench; rush orders work with 72 hours’ notice.

What we staff

G2E 2027 staffing services

Eight services for G2E exhibitors, from the first spin at your slot bank to the client dinner that night. One price covers all eight: $85 an hour for each person.

Trade show models

Models stand at the aisle edge and invite casino buyers in to play the cabinet that fits their floor.

Brand ambassadors

Ambassadors scan badges at the rope line, hand out your giveaway after the scan and keep the crowd moving.

Promotional models

When you unveil a new title, promotional models stand beside it on stage and keep the audience watching the screen.

Hostesses

Hostesses run your lounge and meeting rooms, greet each booked property team and keep coffee coming between sessions.

Product demonstrators

Demonstrators learn one short talk per cabinet, kiosk or system and deliver it the same way every day.

Registration and check-in staff

Our check-in team runs the door list at evening suites, buyer dinners, property tours and receptions.

Lead capture booth reps

A rep works through your qualifying questions, marks the operator type and sets the sales call while the buyer is still at the desk.

Multilingual staff

G2E draws people from more than 120 countries, regions and territories. Ask early for Spanish, Mandarin, Japanese or another language and we look for Las Vegas staff who speak it.

The Venetian Expo

One venue, connected to the resort

G2E fills The Venetian Expo, which links straight to the resort hotels around it. That makes it easy to move a host from the hall to a suite or a dinner on the same day.

Wide casino gaming expo hall with rows of slot cabinets and table game layouts, and a brand ambassador in a tailored outfit standing on the right
Show week in Las Vegas: cabinet banks and table layouts fill the hall, while a brand ambassador waits by the booth entrance.
  • Send us your booth number early. We set call times by the entrance nearest your space, not the main lobby.
  • Resort suites and meeting rooms are a short walk from the hall, so one host can cover a suite in the evening after a hall shift.
  • Expect long walks on the first day. We brief every person on the route from the door to your booth.
  • Loading, parking and hall layout are in our Venetian Expo exhibitor guide.

House rules

What our G2E hosts do, and never do

A gaming booth has rules a food or tech booth does not. These are the lines every person on our crew learns before the hall opens.

On the floor, they will

  • Greet players and seat them at cabinets running on free play
  • Explain each game’s main feature with the short script you approve
  • Scan badges, ask your questions and tag every lead
  • Keep rope lines tidy and the aisle clear
  • Host meeting rooms, lounges and evening suites

They will never

  • Run, deal or settle any real-money game
  • Handle cash, chips with value or ticket-in vouchers
  • Answer questions on game math, hold or approvals; your experts do that
  • Make promises on pricing or delivery
  • Leave a station empty without a relief host in place

Busted hands

Five G2E staffing mistakes to avoid

Bust

Real-money confusion

Visitors sometimes ask if they can win. Every host should say the same line: this is a demo on free play. We train that line before opening.

Bust

A host who never played

If the host has not played the game, the first question stops them. Our crew plays each title before the hall opens.

Bust

Crowds in the aisle

A feature cabinet can draw a crowd fast. Without a rope line inside your space, the line spills into the aisle and show staff step in.

Bust

No tag on the scan

A badge scan with no operator type is a cold lead. Tag every scan: commercial, tribal, online, distributor or partner.

Bust

Full crew on the last afternoon

Traffic thins near the close. A smaller crew on the final day saves budget for the busy opening hours.

PE

Purple Exhibits Las Vegas team
Checked by our G2E coordinators · Updated

How much do G2E booth staff and trade show models cost?

All roles cost the same: $85 an hour for each person, and a shift is never shorter than four hours. That covers slot floor hosts, table demo hosts, scanner reps, hostesses and trade show models. The crew lives in Las Vegas, so no travel fees appear.

When is G2E 2027?

The official G2E site lists G2E 2027 for September 27–30, 2027, at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas, with education starting September 27. Expo hall hours for 2027 were not posted when we last checked. In 2026 the show ran September 28 to October 1, with the hall open the last three days.

Is G2E held every year?

Yes. G2E is held every year in Las Vegas, usually in late September or early October. The official site already lists G2E 2028 for October 9–12, 2028.

Can your staff deal cards or run real-money games?

No. Our hosts never deal, run or settle a real-money game, and they never handle cash, chips with value or vouchers. They greet players at games set to free play or demo mode, explain the feature you approve and pass rules, math and approval questions to your own team.

How many staff does a G2E booth need?

Count what visitors can play or try. Plan one host per 12 slot cabinets, one per two table layouts and one per four kiosks, and finish with one scanner rep and one aisle greeter. Our crew planner runs those numbers per day.

How do your reps qualify G2E leads?

Each badge gets scanned, then the rep asks the two or three qualifiers you signed off on and marks the buyer as commercial casino, tribal, online or sports operator, distributor or partner. Your sales team sees at a glance whom to call first.

How far ahead should I book for G2E?

Five to six weeks before the show gives you the widest choice of people. Fall is busy for Las Vegas event staff, so earlier is better. If you are late, we can still fill a rush order on 72 hours’ notice.

Who supplies booth staff close to The Venetian Expo?

We do. Our G2E crews are Las Vegas residents, so nothing for airfare or hotels goes on your invoice. The rate is $85 per person per hour, four hours minimum.

Is it possible to hire promotional models for a single G2E day?

Yes. Take one shift on your busiest hall day, for a launch, or just for the final afternoon. Four hours is the minimum per person, and more days can be added while there is still time for a briefing.

Can I get bilingual booth staff at G2E?

Often, yes. G2E reports visitors from more than 120 countries, regions and territories. Name the languages, such as Spanish, Mandarin or Japanese, when you request staff. The rate stays $85 an hour.

What if one of your staff cancels?

Standby people are on call in Las Vegas all G2E week. A replacement who has been briefed gets to The Venetian Expo inside two hours. Miss that window and the shift costs you nothing.

Do you staff suites, dinners and receptions during G2E week?

Yes. Hostesses, door hosts and suite hosts work resort suites, buyer dinners, receptions and property tours around Las Vegas.

What should G2E hosts wear?

Most gaming suppliers pick one of four looks: white dresses with a brand-color scarf, black vests with bow ties, red cocktail dresses or tailored suits. You can ship branded pieces and we collect sizes ahead of time.

Are you the official G2E staffing company?

No. Purple Exhibits is independent, and exhibitors book us directly. We have no affiliation with the American Gaming Association, which presents G2E, or with RX, which organizes it.

Can Purple build our G2E booth too?

Yes. Our team designs, builds and installs exhibits at The Venetian Expo, slot banks, table pods, meeting rooms and lounges included, and one plan covers both the booth and the crew.
