Sources: 2026 dates and city from AWS’s re:Invent event pages at aws.amazon.com/events/reinvent. The 2025 campus (Wynn, Encore, The Venetian, Caesars Forum, MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay) and the Expo at The Venetian come from AWS Builder Center’s “Know before you go: attending re:Invent 2025 in person.” AWS posts the 2026 venue map and Expo hours to attendees and exhibitors before the show. The $85 rate and four-hour minimum are Purple Exhibits’ own.

The short answer

Staffing an AWS re:Invent booth

AWS re:Invent booth staff earn their rate in the minutes after a session lets out, when hundreds of builders hit the Expo at once. Purple Exhibits books local demo presenters, pod hosts, badge-scanning brand ambassadors, suite hostesses, booth reps and trade show models for AWS re:Invent 2026. Every role costs $85 per person per hour, with a four-hour minimum per shift. Our crews live in Las Vegas, so your invoice has no airfare and no hotel nights. re:Invent 2026 runs November 30 to December 4 in Las Vegas, and AWS holds it every year. With the show only weeks away, book now; for a last-minute gap we can still fill a request on 72 hours’ notice.

Choose the look

Four looks for a cloud and AI booth

Dress the whole crew one way or match the look to the job: casual at the pods, tailored at the lead desk, bold color at the aisle. You ship any branded pieces, and we confirm sizes before the show.

Builder casual

Your branded tee or quarter-zip, dark jeans and clean white sneakers. It matches the crowd, so visitors talk to the crew like peers at the pods.

Works best: Demo pods, swag counter

Smart tech

Black blazer, white shirt or blouse, dark trousers. Quiet and sharp for the lead desk, the meeting pod and anyone meeting a CIO.

Works best: Lead desk, meeting pod

Brand color statement

One bold color from your logo, like an emerald blazer, worn by the whole front line. Easy to spot from the aisle and in every photo.

Works best: Aisle, theater, photo spot

Evening cocktail

Cocktail dresses and dark suits for the customer dinner, the partner happy hour or a suite reception once the Expo closes.

Works best: Dinners, happy hours, suites

Plan the crew stop by stop

A re:Invent crew often works more than one stop: the Expo booth, a briefing suite at a campus hotel and an evening event. Set your stations and stops, and the route card counts the people and the cost.

What we staff

AWS re:Invent staffing services

Eight jobs we fill for re:Invent 2026 staffing, from the Expo aisle to the dinner table. Each one is $85 per person per hour.

Trade show models

Models hold the open edge of your Expo booth in your colors and turn passing builders into visitors before the next session pulls them away.

Brand ambassadors

Ambassadors work the swag counter, scan each badge first and keep a long giveaway line polite and moving.

Promotional models

For a launch moment or a photo spot, promotional models present the product and keep the crowd facing your screen.

Hostesses

Hostesses run check-in at hotel briefing suites and customer dinners, greet guests by name and keep the room on schedule.

Demo presenters

Presenters learn a tight script and run your live AI or cloud demo on a headset mic, the same strong way on the last day as the first.

Pod demo hosts

Pod hosts follow your console click path with one visitor at a time and hand deep questions to your solutions architects.

Registration and check-in staff

Check-in staff manage RSVP lists for partner happy hours, briefings and executive dinners across the campus.

Lead capture booth reps

Reps scan badges with your lead app, ask your questions and tag each lead as builder, decision maker, partner or startup.

One show, many hotels

re:Invent does not sit in one building. In 2025 it used six venues along the Strip, with the Expo at The Venetian. Our Venetian Expo venue guide covers the halls, docks and labor rules; below is how the crew plan changes at each kind of stop.

Demo playbook

Hook, show, prove, hand off

The best cloud booths move each visitor along a short path, from the screen that stops them to the scan that records them. Our staff run the first two steps and the last one, and your architects own the third.

01

Hook

At the demo wall

A presenter on a headset mic runs a short live demo that answers one question builders care about. People stop because something is actually happening on screen.

02

Show

At the pods

A pod host seats the curious visitor and walks your console click path, one step at a time, at the visitor’s pace.

03

Prove

With your architect

When the questions turn to scale, cost or security, the host brings in your solutions architect and stays to take notes.

04

Hand off

At the lead desk

A booth rep scans the badge, asks your questions and tags the lead, so sales knows who wants a follow-up call next week.

Known issues

Five re:Invent staffing mistakes to avoid

Logged like a status page, because each one is easy to spot and easy to fix before the Expo opens.

Degraded

A demo nobody can hear

A live demo in a loud hall needs a headset mic and a set loop. Without one, the screen plays to an empty aisle.

Outage

The swag line with no scanner

A hoodie handed out without a badge scan is a gift, not a lead. Put one ambassador on the scanner and keep the rule firm.

Degraded

Engineers stuck on basics

Your architects should answer the hard questions. If they explain the product from zero all day, add pod hosts.

Outage

A full staff at the wrong hour

Traffic swings with the session clock. A flat plan leaves people idle mid-morning and short when the rush lands.

Degraded

A suite with no one at the door

Briefing guests walk in late, early or lost. A hostess at the door keeps the account team on time.

Purple Exhibits Las Vegas team
Checked by our re:Invent coordinators · Updated

How much do AWS re:Invent booth staff and trade show models cost?

Every role is $85 an hour per person, with a four-hour minimum per shift. Demo presenters, pod hosts, brand ambassadors, booth reps, hostesses and models all bill the same. Our crews live in Las Vegas, so there are no travel fees.

When is AWS re:Invent 2026?

AWS lists re:Invent 2026 for November 30 to December 4, 2026, in Las Vegas. The conference returns every year. Expo hours and the venue map come from AWS, and we set your shifts to them.

Where is the re:Invent Expo?

In 2025 the Expo was at The Venetian, while sessions spread across six Strip venues. AWS confirms the 2026 floor plan in its exhibitor materials. Tell us your booth number and we brief the crew on the hall and the nearest doors.

Can your presenters run our AI or cloud demo?

Yes. Send a short script for the demo wall and the click path for each pod, then give us an hour with your team before the Expo opens. Presenters handle the guided part; deep technical questions go to your architects.

Can staff scan badges with our lead app?

Yes. Reps and ambassadors use your lead retrieval app or device, ask your qualifying questions and tag each lead. Send login steps two weeks out so we can test it at the rehearsal.

How many staff does a re:Invent booth need?

Count stations first: one presenter per demo wall, one host per pod, then a booth rep and a greeter. A swag counter, a theater or a meeting pod each adds one. The route planner on this page does the math.

How far ahead should I book for re:Invent 2026?

The show is only weeks away, so book as soon as your booth plan is set. Five weeks is ideal for matching staff to your demo. Rush requests still work with 72 hours’ notice.

Where can I hire booth staff near the Venetian Expo?

Right here. Our re:Invent crews are Las Vegas locals who report to the Expo with no flights or hotel nights on your bill. The same team can cover suites and dinners at other campus hotels, at $85 an hour per person.

Can I book promotional models for one day of re:Invent?

Yes. Book a single day, such as the day of your launch or your busiest Expo day. Each person has a four-hour minimum, and you can add days later.

What happens if a staff member cancels?

We keep briefed standby staff in Las Vegas during re:Invent week. A replacement reaches your booth within two hours. If we miss that, you do not pay for that shift.

Are you the official AWS re:Invent staffing company?

No. Exhibitors hire us directly. Purple Exhibits is independent and has no affiliation with Amazon Web Services, which organizes re:Invent.

Can you staff our hotel suite and dinner on other parts of the campus?

Yes. Briefing suites, customer dinners and happy hours can be anywhere on or near the Strip. Our staff are local and get there on their own, at the same $85 rate.

Do you offer bilingual booth staff for re:Invent?

Often, yes. Tell us which languages your customers speak when you book, and we look for Las Vegas staff who speak them, at the same rate.

Can the same crew work re:Invent and CES?

Often, yes. Both shows are in Las Vegas, re:Invent in late fall and CES in January. Ask for the same people when you book, and we reuse the brief from your first show.

Can Purple build our re:Invent booth too?

Yes. We design, build and install exhibits in Las Vegas, including demo walls, seated pods and meeting rooms, and we can staff them on the same plan.
