ECTC is the IEEE meeting for advanced packaging, interconnect and reliability, with a Technology Exhibition beside the sessions. Visitors are engineers who read cross-sections for fun, so we build booths that put a substrate, a bonded die stack or a tool module where they can see it.

What makes ECTC different, and how we build for it
ECTC is the flagship conference of the IEEE Electronics Packaging Society, and in 2026 it set records in Orlando: 2,730 attendees, 918 abstracts, 714 seats in 16 professional development courses, and 136 companies in the ECTC Technology Exhibition. It runs beside ITherm, and the two drew more than 3,300 experts together. The 77th edition moves to the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Aurora, east of Denver, under General Chair Przemyslaw Gromala. A booth here talks hybrid bonding, fan-out, panel-level and chiplet packaging with people who publish on it, so the product and the cross-section matter more than the slogan.

IEEE EPS describes the ECTC Technology Exhibition as part of the conference, with 41 technical sessions in 2026. Traffic comes between sessions, so we design for a two-minute stop: one sample, one number, one engineer.
In 2026 the exhibition reception ran late Wednesday afternoon and pitch competitions ran Wednesday and Thursday evenings. We set booth lighting for evening use and keep the counter clear for drinks and conversation.
