PCB East 2027The exhibitor guide: booth costs, dates and deadlines

PCB East 2027 runs Tuesday, April 27 to Friday, April 30, 2027, with the free exhibition on Wednesday, April 28 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Courses and technical sessions fill all four days, and PCEA hosts an exhibitor and speaker reception on Tuesday evening.

PCB East is at the DCU Center, 50 Foster Street in downtown Worcester, Massachusetts. PCEA notes the building is less than a minute from the interstate and about 45 miles from both Boston Logan and T.F. Green airports, near the I-495 and I-90 tech corridor.

Each package includes a 10×10 pipe-and-drape booth in black, a 44-by-7-inch ID sign, one 6-foot skirted table, two chairs, a wastebasket, standard electrical, one lead retrieval app, the conference proceedings and two post-show uses of the opted-in registrant list.

The 2027 list already includes fabricators such as Sierra Circuits, Accurate Circuit Engineering and FTG Corporation, assemblers such as Screaming Circuits, chip makers Altera, AMD and Microchip, and suppliers such as Samtec, Ventec, Polar Instruments and Panasonic Electronic Materials.

Displays may not exceed the 8-foot drape backdrop, and tabletop displays placed on the table must also stay under 8 feet. Side rails are 3 feet high and pop-up banners may not entirely block them, so we design tall graphics against the back wall only.

Move-in is Tuesday, April 27 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and every booth must be set by 8 a.m. on Wednesday for PCEA's walk-through. Move-out runs Wednesday from 5 to 10 p.m.; PCEA says any teardown before 5 p.m. forfeits exhibiting at PCB East 2028.

Heavy equipment needs prior approval from show management, and compressed air or gas is not allowed. Sound must stay under an 80-decibel average measured from mid-aisle, and only show management may use microphones on the floor, so quiet laptop and board demos work best.

Purple's DCU Center guide uses the PCB East 2026 Capital Convention Contractors rate sheet: $110 per hundredweight for crated freight to the advance warehouse, $108 direct to show and $146 uncrated, with a 200-pound minimum. A tabletop kit often travels as hand luggage instead.

PCEA quotes booth packages through its sales contact rather than posting a price. On the display side, a printed backdrop, lit tabletop riser and banner from us costs far less than a floor booth because the package already includes the drape, table and power.

Meeting rooms, hospitality suites and off-site events from Monday, April 26 to Friday, April 30, 2027 need show management approval, and events during official program hours need written consent. PCEA's penalties include cutting booth size by half.

All exhibit staff must be registered by April 5, 2027. Move-in runs Tuesday, April 27 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., every booth must be set by 8 a.m. on Wednesday, April 28, and move-out runs that evening from 5 to 10 p.m.

The exhibition is free with an exhibit pass, while the technical conference is paid by package. Family members of age may visit the floor with their own free pass, but nobody under 18 may attend any PCB East function, per PCEA's FAQ.

PCEA lists official event hotels on its headquarters hotel page, and when those blocks fill it points exhibitors to Discover Central MA listings. Drivers can park in the Mercantile Center Garage or the Major Taylor Boulevard garage, each about a block from the convention entrance.

Both come from PCEA. PCB East in Worcester serves Northeast design and fabrication teams with a one-day tabletop exhibition, while PCB West in Santa Clara draws the Silicon Valley board community. Many suppliers bring the same tabletop kit to both.
