What makes SEMICON West different, and how we build for it
SEMICON West is SEMI's North American flagship for the whole chip supply chain, from wafer fab equipment and materials to sub-components, test and packaging.For 2027 it changes season and city at once: SEMI moves the show to spring and makes the Phoenix Convention Center its long-term home, close to the fabs under construction in Arizona. The City of Phoenix expected more than 35,000 attendees when the show first came to Phoenix in October 2025. On this floor, process engineers and fab executives look for tools, parts and materials that hold up in a cleanroom, so a booth earns attention with real hardware, clean cutaways and specialists who can talk throughput and yield.

Inside SEMICON West 2027
Rules that shape your SEMICON West booth
SEMI's 2026 rules allow 8 ft inline, 12 ft perimeter, 16 ft at the center of a peninsula back wall and 20 ft for islands and split islands, all including signage. We draw each booth to the cap of its type.
Any structure taller than 16 ft needs an engineering certification stamp on its plans, kept in the booth for the Fire Marshal and show management (2026 rules). We engineer and stamp tall islands and leave the drawings on site.
Signs hang only over islands and peninsulas of four booths or more, top at 20 ft, at least 8 ft clear underneath, installed by GES, with plans to SEMI 60 days before move-in (2026). We file the plans and the labor order.
Flashing chaser lights are not permitted on signs, and laser logos may only point into your own exhibit space (2026 rules). We light signs with steady LED and aim any projected logo at your floor.
Every booth plan must be approved by SEMI before move-in, showing heights and widths of walls, towers and headers and whether it is two-story or covered (2026 rules). We prepare and submit the approval package.

SEMICON West sells inline, perimeter, end-cap, peninsula, split island and island booths, each with its own height under SEMI's display rules. We recommend a 10×20 inline with one hardware piece and a cutaway for a component maker, and a 20×30 or larger island for an equipment supplier showing a tool module.

Four things we get right for SEMICON West exhibitors
1Show the hardware, open it up
Fab engineers want to see inside. We mount real chambers, valves or wafer-handling parts on low plinths with lit cutaways and exploded-view graphics, kept within SEMI's rule that equipment on raised platforms may not break the height limits.
2Stamp anything above 16 ft
SEMI's 2026 rules require an engineering certification stamp on any structure over 16 ft, with the plans kept in the booth for the Fire Marshal. We engineer tall islands to that standard from the start and leave a copy of the stamped drawings in your storage room.
3Point the laser logo inward
Under the 2026 hanging sign rules a laser logo may only project into your own space, and flashing chaser lights are banned. We design lit signs with steady LED edge light and aim any projected logo at your floor, not the aisle.
4Build for Phoenix in spring
The 2027 move to Phoenix puts the show near Arizona's new fabs and local supply chain. We give the graphics an Arizona project story where you have one, and ship from our Las Vegas hub, a short drive from the Phoenix Convention Center.

Logistics for SEMICON West 2027, handled
The Phoenix Convention Center spans three connected buildings downtown, with a 312,500 sq ft main exhibition hall, and Arizona's right-to-work law lets your own employees carry in and build small displays, though forklift and cart work belongs to the official contractor or to Stagehand Local #36. Sky Harbor is 10 to 15 minutes away and the Valley Metro Rail stops at the campus. GES was SEMI's general contractor in 2026. We read the 2027 kit when SEMI releases it, file booth and hanging sign approvals, ship from Las Vegas, and our project manager leads vetted Phoenix labor from crate to teardown.
