What makes DAC different, and how we build for it
DAC, The Chips to Systems Conference, is the oldest meeting in electronic design automation, now in its 64th year, and the place where EDA vendors, IP houses, foundries and a fast-growing group of AI design startups show their tools to the people who tape out chips. The exhibit floor carries the DAC Pavilion Theater with SKYTalks and panels, the Exhibitor Forum Theater, daily poster sessions, the Innovation Zone and evening networking receptions. Inside DAC 2027
DAC rules that shape your booth
DAC prices exhibit space at $53.50 per square foot in increments of 100 square feet for 2027. We design to the exact square footage you contract, so a 300-square-foot space gets a three-bay layout rather than a stretched 10×20.
Hall-Erickson, Inc. is the only official exhibit and sponsorship sales representative, and DAC warns of companies falsely offering booth space, lists or housing. We work only with DAC's official contractors.
Connections Housing is DAC's official housing partner and no other agency may place reservations on DAC's behalf; housing opens in spring 2027. Staff rooms for setup days need booking in that block.
Exhibitor Forum talks are limited to members of participating exhibiting companies, presentations use 16:9 PDF slides, and no title or presenter changes are allowed after April 10, 2027.

Four things we get right for DAC exhibitors
1Seat the demo
EDA demos take minutes, not seconds. We build pods with stools, screens at seated eye level and a second monitor for the visitor, so an engineer can stay through a timing-closure run or a waveform debug without blocking the aisle.
2Name the problem, not the product
DAC visitors scan for the pain they have: verification closure, power, chiplet integration, AI-assisted design. We put that problem in large type on the back wall and keep product names secondary, which pulls the right people in.
Rooms for NDA conversations
Evaluations and roadmap talks need privacy. We frame closed meeting rooms with sound-damping walls, a screen and a whiteboard surface inside the booth, and DAC also rents convention center meeting rooms to partners and exhibitors.

Logistics for DAC 2027, handled
T3 Expo is DAC 2027's official general contractor, and its exhibitor manual, with rules, shipping instructions, labor and order forms, arrives in spring 2027. DAC lists targeted installation on Saturday, July 10 and Sunday, July 11, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and dismantle from 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14 through noon Thursday. Connections Housing is the only official housing partner. We read the manual the day it posts, ship crated pods and walls to T3 Expo's advance warehouse, order power and internet for every demo station and run the San Jose install with our own project manager.

What are the DAC 2027 dates?
DAC 2027 runs July 11 to 14, 2027 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center. The exhibit hall is open Monday, July 12 and Tuesday, July 13 for eight hours each, opening at 10 a.m., and on Wednesday, July 14 it closes early at 4 p.m., per DAC's exhibitor page.
Where is DAC 2027 held?
DAC returns to San Jose in 2027, at the convention center downtown on West San Carlos Street. DAC notes San Jose Mineta International Airport is close by, with SFO and Oakland as alternatives, and that hotels and restaurants are within walking distance.

DAC is about chip design automation: EDA, IP, verification and AI-driven design tools. DesignCon in Santa Clara in February centers on signal and power integrity, boards, interconnect and test gear. EDA vendors with SI/PI products often exhibit at both.
