Radios, towers and two floor days: IWCE 2027 booths in Las Vegas
Public safety, utility and transit radio managers walk IWCE to key a radio, compare coverage and meet their dealer, all in two exhibit days. In North Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center we install as your EAC with the labor the show requires, with Teamsters Local 631 freight booked through the show contractor.

What makes IWCE different, and how we build for it
IWCE is the critical communications show: land mobile radio, broadband push-to-talk, in-building wireless, dispatch and the networks that keep police, fire, utilities and transit talking.Informa runs four days of education, with accredited technical training through ETA International and the Drones as First Responders program with DRONERESPONDERS and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, around a two-day exhibit hall. The Critical Comms Spotlight Theater runs on the floor, and the 2027 show marks IWCE50. In 2026 the show drew 3,600+ attendees from 1,900+ organizations, and 40% of them were VPs or C-suite executives.
Radios they can hold and key, P25 and broadband interoperability shown end to end, and a vendor who understands grant cycles and procurement rules.
Private LTE, LMR and dispatch systems shown on a coverage map of a real territory, with uptime, cybersecurity and migration stories.
Antennas, cabling, in-building gear and test equipment they can handle, plus dealer terms and support from someone who has climbed a tower.
Your team in Las Vegas
Two shops and one project manager for IWCE
We build in our own production shop in Fishkill, NY, and our Las Vegas hub, ship to the Las Vegas Convention Center, North Hall, and install with our own project manager on the floor and vetted local labor. Turnaround is a predictable 30 to 45 days, with pre-show QA and secure storage for your IWCE booth.
Your staff walks onto the IWCE floor and the booth is already lit and stocked. You just show up.

Inside IWCE 2027
Rules that shape your IWCE booth
The floor is open just two days, March 10–11, 2027, from 10 a.m. both days, closing at 5 on Wednesday and 4 on Thursday, after two training days. We schedule install before Wednesday and dismantle after the Thursday close.
Live drone demonstrations at IWCE are presented by DRONERESPONDERS with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in the Drone Zone. We design drone exhibits as static displays with batteries handled to the show contractor's rules.
The LVCC reserves forklifts, pallet jacks and wheeled freight for Teamsters Local 631 via the show contractor, while exhibitor staff may use hand tools at most shows. Our EAC paperwork and insurance go in about a month before move-in.
Programs worth planning for
A DRONERESPONDERS partnership with a UAS Program Manager's Course, a Drone Technology Pavilion and live demonstrations with LVMPD, for drone, payload and public safety UAS companies.
Eight accredited multi-day technical training courses in two- and three-day formats, with an ETA certification exam included in registration.
An exhibit hall stage where sponsors present to attendees, sold as part of IWCE's sponsorship options along with Lunch & Learn Roundtables and meeting rooms.
IWCE is the radio and critical communications technology show for public safety, utilities and transit; choose it over APCO when your buyers are network engineers, dealers and enterprise radio managers rather than 9-1-1 and dispatch center leaders. 02 Booths & pricing for IWCE 2027
Popular booth sizes at IWCE
IWCE sells booths and sponsorships through Informa's exhibit team without a public rate card; most of the 250+ exhibitors use inline booths, with radio and network makers on islands. We recommend a 10×20 with a radio wall and coverage screen, or a 20×20 island for system demos.

A lit wall of handheld and mobile radios on secure mounts, a coverage map on a 65-inch screen and a counter where a dealer can talk pricing.

Case study · KLEEMANN
KLEEMANN at an industrial technology exhibition
Interactive from start to finish: digital simulations and real product showcases for a global elevator manufacturer, on a floor plan that guided visitors from first step to last.
Kleemann needed heavy, technical equipment explained to engineers who buy on specification; IWCE buyers judge radios, antennas and networks the same way.

04 Designing for two-way radio, LMR, broadband push-to-talk, antenna and critical communications brands at IWCE
Four things we get right for IWCE exhibitors
1Let them key the radio
IWCE buyers judge a radio by its weight, buttons and audio. We build tethered radio walls with charging cradles inside, so visitors pick up every model, and a quiet corner where they hear audio quality without the aisle noise.
2Show coverage, not just boxes
LMR, broadband and in-building systems sell on coverage and uptime. We mount a large screen with a live or recorded coverage map of a real territory beside the hardware, so a utility or county buyer sees the network work.
3Two days, so book the meetings
The 2027 hall opens for only seven hours on Wednesday and six on Thursday, after two days of training. We design a meeting room or lounge sized for the agency and dealer appointments your team books ahead.
4Drone and vehicle demos
Drones as First Responders brings a Drone Technology Pavilion and live demonstrations with DRONERESPONDERS and LVMPD. If you show a drone or a vehicle, we plan static display, battery handling and floor protection with the show contractor.

Where you could be at IWCE 2027
IWCE 2027 uses North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, so the hall's layout and links to the rest of the campus shape booth plans and freight.
North Hall
Roughly 409,000 square feet of exhibit space in the LVCC's mid-era wing, joined to Central Hall, where shows lay out dense rows with narrower aisles than West Hall.
Our advice We keep inline back walls at 8 feet unless IWCE's rules allow more, and push radios and screens to the aisle edge.
Central Hall connection
North Hall joins Central Hall by concourse; the LVCC campus also links halls through the underground Vegas Loop.
Our advice Plan staff routes and freight timing from the North Hall docks rather than the West Hall side.

Logistics for IWCE 2027, handled
IWCE 2027 sits in North Hall, the older LVCC hall joined to Central Hall, where floor plans run dense and aisles narrow. Las Vegas labor rules are strict: a Teamster drives every forklift and pallet jack, and only your own full-time staff may work the booth with hand tools. Purple files as your Exhibitor Appointed Contractor, send crates to the advance warehouse rather than queueing trucks at the marshaling yard, and build from our Las Vegas shop a few miles away, which can reprint a damaged graphic overnight mid-show.
Hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines for the building that hosts IWCE are in our Las Vegas Convention Center exhibitor guide.
What Purple handles
- Tethered radio walls with built-in charging
- Coverage-map screens and quiet audio corners
- EAC paperwork and insurance for North Hall
- Advance warehouse freight and material handling
- Install led by our project manager on the floor
- Storage at our Las Vegas shop between shows

IWCE exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before IWCE
What are the IWCE 2027 dates?
IWCE 2027 runs March 8–11, 2027. Training and sessions fill all four days, and the exhibit floor opens for two of them: Wednesday, March 10 from 10 to 5 and Thursday, March 11 from 10 to 4, per IWCE.
Where is IWCE 2027 held?
IWCE 2027 takes North Hall, the northern wing of the LVCC campus a block east of the Strip. North Hall links to Central Hall indoors, and the Monorail has a stop on the convention center campus.
How much does a booth at IWCE cost?
IWCE books space through Informa's exhibit and sponsorship team and does not post a public rate card; its sponsor and exhibitor guide is sent on request. On our side, a 10×20 rental runs $7,500 to $15,000 and a custom 20×20 island $50,000 to $120,000.
How many people attend IWCE?
IWCE counted 3,600+ attendees, 225+ exhibitors and sponsors, 275+ speakers and 1,900+ organizations from 40+ countries at its 2026 show, and 40% of attendees were VPs or C-suite. Its general pages describe 4,000+ critical communications professionals without a year.
Who attends IWCE?
Communications managers and engineers from government, public safety, emergency management, utilities, education, transportation, healthcare and other critical infrastructure, plus the dealers and integrators who sell to them. Many come for the training as well as the floor.
Can we set up our own booth at the Las Vegas Convention Center?
Your own full-time employees can usually assemble a booth with hand tools at the LVCC, but anything rolled or lifted by machine belongs to Teamsters Local 631, ordered via the show contractor. We file the EAC form and insurance about a month ahead so we can build your space.
What does drayage cost at IWCE?
LVCC freight is charged by the hundred pounds with a 200-pound floor per shipment, and uncrated, late or off-target loads cost extra. We crate everything, send one consolidated shipment to the advance warehouse and list the IWCE handling estimate on your proposal.
What is Drones as First Responders at IWCE?
A partnership with DRONERESPONDERS that brings a UAS Program Manager's Course, a Drone Technology Pavilion and live drone demonstrations with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to IWCE. Drone makers can exhibit near the pavilion and the Drone Zone.
What training runs at IWCE 2027?
IWCE offers 125+ sessions, workshops and panels across 13 themes, from LMR and broadband devices to 911 and NG9-1-1, plus 8 multi-day technical courses with ETA International. Registration includes exhibit hall access, keynotes, the Wednesday reception, lunch and an ETA certification exam.
Can exhibitors speak at IWCE?
Sponsors can present on the Critical Comms Spotlight Theater stage, join panels or host Lunch & Learn Roundtables, per Informa's IWCE sponsor page. Product talks in the booth work best with a short bench and a screen we build into the design.
When should we book IWCE registration and a booth?
IWCE's Super Early Bird registration pricing ends November 13, 2026. Booth space has no published deadline, so lock your space now; design sign-off by mid-December 2026 leaves time for a 30 to 45 day build before March.
Can we reuse an IWCE booth at other shows?
Radio walls and coverage screens move well to APCO in Anaheim, the NENA conference and UTC Telecom & Technology in Las Vegas. Between shows the booth stays at our Las Vegas shop, so a Las Vegas show the next year costs no freight to bring it back.
What is IWCE50?
IWCE marks IWCE50 with anniversary celebrations at the 2027 show, alongside its Networking Party and Drinks, Bites & Insights events. A milestone year is a natural moment for a booth refresh or a launch.
What hotels are near the Las Vegas Convention Center for IWCE?
The Westgate connects to the LVCC by an attached walkway and the Renaissance sits next door, per Purple's venue guide. Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) is about 4 miles south of the convention center, so most IWCE teams stay within a short ride of North Hall.
Before you sign for IWCE
Five things to ask every builder quoting IWCE:
- Is each fee on the proposal, even the ones the show contractor bills?
- Who actually builds it for IWCE: your shop or a subcontractor?
- Will your own project manager be at IWCE for install and dismantle?
- What does the rental include, and what is billed by IWCE?
- Where is the booth stored after the show, and at what cost?
Common situations
Already own a booth? Your existing booth gets refreshed graphics and repairs, then we ship it to Las Vegas, install it and store it between shows. You keep the structure you paid for and bring it to IWCE.
Exhibiting from outside the US? For IWCE, we act as your team on the ground: freight to the advance warehouse, show-service orders, installation and storage, and one project manager who answers your emails in your time zone.
Short on time? In two to three weeks, a rental with your graphics can be ready for Las Vegas. On the first call, we tell you what is realistic for IWCE.
