Towers and small cells on bare concrete: Connect (X) 2027 booths in Phoenix
Tower owners, carriers and site builders walk Connect (X) to see the hardware that goes up a pole or a monopine, so we build sturdy demo structures, lit product walls and a seated corner for deal talk. The North Hall floor is not carpeted, so we ship flooring with every booth.

What makes Connect (X) different, and how we build for it
Connect (X) is the Wireless Infrastructure Association's annual show for the companies that own, build and supply towers, small cells, DAS and the fiber behind them.WIA calls it the business technology event for the entire digital infrastructure industry, and its 2026 cornerstone sponsors were American Tower, Crown Castle, SBA Communications, Vertical Bridge, Diamond Communications and Phoenix Tower International. The floor holds the Spotlight Stage, the Welcome Reception in North Hall, invitation-only Procurement Connect and meeting rooms in North Hall E, and the Women's Wireless Leadership Forum runs its symposium beside it. Buyers here know steel and RF, so real hardware wins over renders.
Proof of what goes on their structures: mounts, antennas, radios, power and shelters they can inspect, with lead times and site examples.
Tools, safety gear, software for site management and a clear answer on how a product speeds up a climb or a permit.
Compact equipment shown at real scale, with a demo of coverage or concealment, and a seat to discuss venues and city deployments.
Your team in Phoenix
Two shops behind your Connect (X) booth
We build in our own production shop in Fishkill, NY, and our Las Vegas hub, ship to the Phoenix Convention Center, North Building, and install with our own project manager on the floor and vetted local labor. Turnaround is a predictable 30 to 45 days, with pre-show QA and secure storage for your Connect (X) booth.
When your team gets to Phoenix, the booth is lit and stocked. You just show up.

- From Fort Lauderdale to Phoenix
After the 2026 show at the Broward County Convention Center, Connect (X) moves to the Phoenix Convention Center North Building for May 10–12, 2027. West Coast and Southwest suppliers gain a shorter freight run, and the hall is uncarpeted, so plan flooring. source
Inside Connect (X) 2027
Rules that shape your Connect (X) booth
WIA's 2027 FAQ states the Connect (X) exhibit hall is not carpeted; a standard space comes only with black drape, side rails and an ID sign. We ship a booth floor rated for steel bases and cabinets.
Connect (X) exhibitors and sponsors arrange, pay for and handle pickup and delivery of all freight, using the shipping address and labels in CSS's Exhibitor Services Kit. We book the carrier and match labels to the kit.
Move-in is Monday, May 10, 1 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, May 11, 8 a.m. to noon; teardown runs from 3 p.m. Wednesday through Thursday at noon. We schedule labor inside those windows and book return freight for Thursday.
WIA uses no third-party housing provider; the only way into the official block is through the links on the Connect (X) site, with official vendor emails carrying the WIA vendor logo. We book crew rooms the same way.
Programs worth planning for

Case study · KLEEMANN
KLEEMANN at an industrial technology exhibition
Interactive from start to finish: digital simulations and real product showcases for a global elevator manufacturer, on a floor plan that guided visitors from first step to last.
KLEEMANN's exhibit showed real elevator hardware and simulations along a guided path; a Connect (X) booth works the same way with antennas, mounts and radios shown exactly as they go up a tower.

04 Designing for tower, small cell, DAS, fiber, power and site equipment companies at Connect (X)
Four things we get right for Connect (X) exhibitors
1Bring the floor with you
WIA states plainly that the Connect (X) exhibit hall is not carpeted. We ship a finished floor with every booth, heavy enough to take steel bases and cabinets, and order carpet only when you want a softer look in the meeting area.
2Mount it like the real site
Tower and small cell buyers judge a product by how it mounts. We build sturdy pipe masts and pole sections that carry antennas, radios and cabling exactly as installed, with weighted bases so nothing needs rigging in the North Hall.
Two short show days
The 2027 hall opens Tuesday from noon to 6 p.m., with the Welcome Reception from 4:30, and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. That is nine hours of floor time, so the booth must explain the product at a glance and move people to a meeting quickly.
Plan around Phoenix in May
Move-in runs Monday, May 10 from 1 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday morning until noon. We stage freight early, keep electronics cases sealed until install and test every screen and light before the noon opening on May 11.

Where you could be at Connect (X) 2027

North Hall
The exhibit floor, open Tuesday noon to 6 p.m. and Wednesday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with the Spotlight Stage and the Tuesday Welcome Reception; the floor is not carpeted.
Our advice Budget for flooring and plan heavy displays on weighted bases rather than rigging.
North Hall E meeting rooms
Exhibit-hall meeting rooms with an 8-foot draped table, eight padded chairs, a wastebasket and a 22×28 sign, open from 1 p.m. Monday.
Our advice Pair a meeting room with a hardware booth and brand both with matching graphics we supply.
North Garage
Parking below the North Building, entered from Monroe Street west of Fifth Street, open daily 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Our advice Useful for staff arriving early for the Tuesday install window that ends at noon.

The official hotel block at the Hyatt Regency, Sheraton and Westin closes April 16, 2027. Move-in runs May 10 from 1 to 8 p.m. and May 11 from 8 a.m. to noon, and final move-out ends at noon on May 13. Service order and freight dates sit in the CSS Exhibitor Services Kit, and the hall is not carpeted, so flooring goes on the first order.

Can we set up our own booth at the Phoenix Convention Center?
Staff on your own payroll may hand-carry materials and build the booth in right-to-work Arizona, per Purple's venue guide. For forklift moves we book Stagehand Local #36 or the official contractor.
What hotels are near the Phoenix Convention Center for Connect (X)?
WIA's official hotels are the Hyatt Regency Phoenix, the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown and The Westin Phoenix Downtown, from $309 a night, booked by April 16, 2027 through links on the Connect (X) website. WIA uses no third-party housing provider.
Can Purple build our Connect (X) booth?
We design the booth around your real hardware, build weighted masts and the floor the North Hall needs, place the CSS and electrical orders and install May 10–11 under our project manager. That booth can travel to Fiber Connect in Nashville in June.
Is Connect (X) worth exhibiting at?
Connect (X) is worth it if you sell towers, mounts, antennas, small cells, power or site services, because the major tower companies and carriers attend as buyers: 59% of 2026 attendees were buyside, per WIA. The show is compact, so pre-booked meetings and a strong hardware demo matter most.
