Robots that close deals: RoboBusiness 2027 booths, built on Santa Clara 2026

We build RoboBusiness booths where a robot works in plain view and an executive or investor can sit down to talk deployment cost and payback. The 2026 edition is in Santa Clara; the 2027 location is not confirmed yet, and we plan freight and labor as soon as the organizer names it.

What makes RoboBusiness different, and how we build for it

RoboBusiness is the business side of robotics: The Robot Report and Arrowfly produce it, MassRobotics is the strategic partner, and 2026 marks its 20th year. The 2026 program runs five tracks, physical AI, enabling technologies, humanoids, field robotics and business and deployment, and over 44% of registrants hold executive or C-suite titles. Startup Alley, the Startup Showcase, the Pitchfire competition and the new Engineering Theater keep founders and investors moving across the expo floor. Visitors here want proof a robot is ready to deploy, so your booth should show the machine working and leave room to talk about cost, scale and who buys it.

Robotics executives and business development leads

A clear statement of what your component or platform saves them, a reference deployment they can name, and a seated spot to talk volume pricing and supply.

Engineering managers and R&D teams

The actuator, sensor or software running in a real robot, specification sheets they can take, and an engineer who can talk integration, torque and interfaces.

Investors and analysts

A short, legible story of the market, traction and team, a live unit they can watch for a full task cycle, and a founder available away from the aisle.

Your team in Santa Clara

Two shops, one project manager, every hall

We fabricate in our own Fishkill, NY shop and our Las Vegas hub, then ship to the venue, where our own project manager leads the install with vetted local labor. Turnaround is a predictable 30 to 45 days, with pre-show QA and secure storage for your RoboBusiness booth.

The booth is lit and stocked when your team reaches the venue. You just show up.

Rules that shape your RoboBusiness booth

Booths come inside sponsor packages

In 2026 RoboBusiness sold booth space within packages: 10×20 Builder Plus and Trailblazer, a 20×20 Innovator with a breakout session, and an exclusive 20×30 Visionary with a general session. We design to the footprint and speaking slot your package includes.

Organizer rule

Day two ends at 3 p.m.

The 2026 expo floor runs from 10 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. on October 20, then from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on October 21. We book investor meetings into the long first day and stage crates so robots are packed first after the early close.

Organizer rule

Pitchfire is for young startups

Pitchfire entrants must build robots or enabling technology, be under five years old, have fewer than 30 employees and be unfunded or seed-funded, and they pitch for five minutes to judges. We build a compact booth that carries the pitch story onto the floor.

Programs worth planning for

Startup Alley

A show-floor area for robotics startups building a full system, component or software; in 2026 selected startups received a free booth and could give a Startup Showcase talk on the Engineering Theater stage. The 2027 application deadline is not confirmed yet.

Official details

Pitchfire

The RoboBusiness startup competition: five-minute pitches to a judging panel on solution, business model and value, with one winner, two runners-up and a $5,000 first prize. The 2027 call is not confirmed yet.

Official details

Engineering Theater

New in 2026: live presentations on the expo floor about technologies, robotics applications and business models; a 2026 sponsor package included a curated panel slot here.

Popular booth sizes at RoboBusiness

RoboBusiness sells booths inside sponsor packages: in 2026 these included 10×20 Trailblazer and Builder Plus spaces, a 20×20 Innovator space and a sold-out 20×30 Visionary space. Component suppliers usually do well in a 10×20 with one robot running; we recommend a 20×20 when you show a mobile or humanoid platform that needs room to move.

04 Designing for robot makers, robotics component and actuator suppliers, physical AI and robotics software companies at RoboBusiness

Four things we get right for RoboBusiness exhibitors

Technician adjusting the arm of a white humanoid robot in an exhibition hall1

Show the robot at work

RoboBusiness visitors arrive from tracks on humanoids, field robotics and deployment, so a robot standing still reads as a prototype. We build a plinth or taped run zone where your unit completes a full task cycle, and mount a screen above it showing uptime or throughput from a real customer site.

Bearded man in a suit taking a cup from the gripper of a collaborative robot arm2

Seat the 44 percent

More than 44 percent of RoboBusiness registrants hold executive or C-suite titles, and they come to talk business, not torque curves. Even in a 10×20 we fit a two-seat table set back from the demo, with a lockable cabinet for NDAs and pricing sheets.

Robot arm with a two-finger gripper mounted on a white mobile base against a blue backdrop3

Plan for a short second day

RoboBusiness 2026 gives exhibitors a long first day, 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and closes the expo floor at 3 p.m. on day two. We build the staffing plan around the 2027 hours once they are posted, put battery charging into the counter for the long day and pre-pack crates so teardown starts on time.

Hands adjusting a clear guard on a robot mechanism with warning labels on a steel bench4

Explain the part inside the robot

Many RoboBusiness exhibitors sell a motor, sensor, gripper or software layer rather than a whole robot. We build a cutaway or exploded display that shows exactly where your part sits inside a working machine, so an engineer understands the fit before reading a spec.

RoboBusiness exhibitor questions

Questions exhibitors ask us before RoboBusiness

How much does a booth at RoboBusiness 2027 cost?

RoboBusiness prices space inside sponsor packages, and 2027 rates are not confirmed yet. The build is separate: our 10×20 rental runs $7,500 to $15,000 and a custom 10×20 $15,000 to $45,000, while a 20×20 island rental starts near $16,000. Demo plinths, run zones and robot freight move the number most.

What is the deadline for RoboBusiness 2027?

No 2027 booking, Startup Alley or Pitchfire deadline is posted yet; the 2026 Startup Alley closed August 12, 2026. Packages sell out from the top, and the 2026 Visionary 20×30 was sold out before the show. Once dates appear, our build calendar asks for an approved design roughly ten weeks ahead of move-in.

Can we rent a booth for RoboBusiness?

Yes. Our RoboBusiness rental is a 10×20 or island kit: fabric back wall with your graphics, a demo plinth sized to your robot, a component display wall, LED lighting and a two-seat meeting table, with freight, build and teardown on one fixed proposal. You ship only the robot and its spares.

What booth sizes does RoboBusiness sell?

In 2026 booths came with sponsor packages: Builder Plus and Trailblazer at 10×20, Innovator at 20×20 with a breakout session, and the exclusive Visionary at 20×30 with a general session slot. Each package bundled conference and expo passes and an expo directory listing, so we match the booth design to the package you buy.

Can we run a live robot demo at RoboBusiness?

The expo floor is built around live demonstrations of robotic systems, and the organizer promotes them on its exhibit page. The 2027 safety and power rules are not confirmed yet; when the exhibitor kit opens we read them, order power and build the barriers or taped zones they require.

How is freight billed for RoboBusiness?

Every hall bills exhibitors for moving crates between the dock or warehouse and the booth, and RoboBusiness has posted no 2027 handling rate. Robots and battery packs are dense, so we weigh each crate, separate lithium batteries per carrier rules and list handling on its own proposal line once the 2027 kit names the rate.

Can we reuse our RoboBusiness booth at other robotics shows?

The same plinth and component wall can work Robotics Summit & Expo in Boston in June and Automate in Las Vegas in May, with new graphics per audience. Off season the kit sits in our storage while we fix worn panels and refit the plinth if your robot changes.

We are a robotics startup. How do we exhibit at RoboBusiness?

Apply to Startup Alley, which in 2026 gave selected startups a free booth on the show floor and a chance at a Startup Showcase talk. Pitchfire is open to robot or enabling-technology companies under five years old with fewer than 30 employees and no more than seed funding; first prize was $5,000.

When is RoboBusiness 2027?

The 2027 dates are not confirmed yet, and neither is the 2027 city or venue. The current edition runs October 20–21, 2026 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. We schedule your build back from move-in as soon as the organizer posts 2027 dates and a location.

Where is RoboBusiness 2027 held?

No 2027 city or hall has been announced, so the location is not confirmed yet. RoboBusiness 2026 is at the Santa Clara Convention Center, 5001 Great America Pkwy, with the Hilton Santa Clara and Hyatt Regency Santa Clara promoted as within walking distance. The convention center names Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International as its airport.

How many people attend RoboBusiness?

The Robot Report expects more than 100 exhibitors at RoboBusiness 2026, and the organizer reports that more than 44 percent of registrants hold C-suite, executive or senior management titles. The 2026 program runs 40+ sessions across five tracks. Counts for the 2027 show are not confirmed yet.

Who organizes RoboBusiness?

Arrowfly produces RoboBusiness with its publications The Robot Report and Design World, and MassRobotics is the strategic partner. Steve Crowe of The Robot Report chairs both RoboBusiness and Robotics Summit & Expo. Exhibit and sponsorship space is sold by the events sales team listed on the RoboBusiness sponsorship page.

Before you sign with anyone

Five things to ask every builder quoting RoboBusiness:

  1. Are all fees on paper, including what the contractor at the venue bills?
  2. Who builds the RoboBusiness booth: your own shop or a subcontractor?
  3. Will your project manager be on the floor at the venue for install and dismantle?
  4. What exactly is in the rental, and what does RoboBusiness bill?
  5. What happens to the booth after RoboBusiness, and what does storage cost?

Common situations

Already own a booth? We refresh the graphics, repair what is worn, ship it, install it and store it between shows. You keep the structure you paid for and bring it to RoboBusiness.

Exhibiting from outside the US? We are your team on the ground in the host city: freight to the advance warehouse, show-service orders, installation and storage, with one project manager answering your emails in your time zone.

Short on time? With a rental, your graphics can be ready in two to three weeks. We tell you on the first call what is realistic for your date.
