Engineers judging every joint: Robotics Summit & Expo 2027 booths in Boston

We build Robotics Summit booths where a robot engineer can see your motor, sensor or software working inside a real machine and leave with the spec. The 2027 expo moves to the Hynes on Boylston Street, whose four halls sit on two levels, and we plan freight to whichever level your booth lands on.

  • Expo June 2–3, 2027 · Hynes
  • 200+ exhibitors in 2026
  • Day two closes at 3 p.m.

What makes Robotics Summit & Expo different, and how we build for it

Robotics Summit & Expo is the engineering event of U.S.robotics: The Robot Report runs it in Boston, with DeviceTalks Boston alongside, and its topics read like a robot's bill of materials, from motion control, sensing and ROS to humanoids, manufacturability and building for scale. The 2026 show ran May 27–28 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center with more than 200 exhibitors and 50+ sessions; for 2027 it moves to the Hynes. The Engineering Theater runs talks on the expo floor, the RBR50 Showcase puts award-winning robots in the hall and MassRobotics programs bring startups. Visitors are builders, so your booth must show where your part sits inside a working robot.

Mechanical and electrical design engineers

Torque, weight, footprint and interface data for your actuator, gearbox or sensor, a part they can turn in their hands, and an applications engineer who knows the numbers.

Software, perception and AI engineers

Your stack running on real hardware: a live camera or lidar feed, ROS integration shown on screen and a developer they can ask about SDKs and latency.

Engineering managers and contract buyers

Proof you can supply at production volume, lead times and certifications, and a quiet table to discuss a design-in or contract engineering project.

One project manager, two shops, the whole Robotics Summit & Expo build

We fabricate in our own Fishkill, NY shop and our Las Vegas hub, then ship to the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center, where our own project manager leads the install with vetted local labor. Expect a 30–45-day build for Robotics Summit & Expo, secure storage and a pre-show QA.

Your staff walks onto the Robotics Summit & Expo floor and the booth is already lit and stocked. You just show up.

Robotics Summit & Expo rules that shape your booth

Expo closes 3 p.m. June 3

For 2027 the expo floor opens at 10 a.m. on both days and shuts at 5 p.m. Wednesday but 3 p.m. Thursday, the same short second day the show ran in 2025. We schedule staff, battery charging and robot pack-out around that early close.

Organizer rule

Package booths are 10×10 or 20×20

The 2027 sponsorship page pairs the Platinum, Diamond and Gold packages with a 10×10 and the exclusive Presenting package with a 20×20. We fit the demo plinth and spec wall to that footprint, or plan the added space you buy for a running robot.

Organizer rule

Gold includes a theater talk

Gold sponsors get a 30-minute Engineering Theater presentation and Diamond sponsors a seat on an editorial panel, plus an exhibitor listing upgrade. We print the talk title and time on your booth header so session crowds find you afterwards.

02 Booths & pricing for Robotics Summit & Expo 2027

Popular booth sizes at Robotics Summit & Expo

Most Robotics Summit sponsor packages for 2027 include a 10×10, and the exclusive Presenting package a 20×20, so the floor is dense with compact inline spaces. We recommend adding space to reach a 10×20 when a robot or test rig runs, and a 20×20 island for a mobile robot or humanoid that needs room to move.

04 Designing for motion control, actuator, sensor, vision, robotics software and contract engineering suppliers at Robotics Summit & Expo

Four things we get right for Robotics Summit & Expo exhibitors

Two six-wheeled autonomous delivery robots parked beside a building1

Put the part inside the robot

Robotics Summit visitors design robots, so a motor on a shelf tells them little. We build cutaway robot joints and exploded assemblies that show your actuator, encoder or sensor in its working position, with torque and weight printed beside it at the height an engineer reads.

Young woman and man smiling while building a wheeled robot in a workshop2

Live data beats renderings

For perception, ROS and physical AI exhibitors we mount a large screen fed by the real sensor on your demo, so the Engineering Theater crowd walking back to their seats sees point clouds and detections updating live, not a rendered video loop.

Two researchers in lab coats reviewing a tablet beside a collaborative robot arm3

Seven hours, then five

The 2027 expo gives you seven hours on Wednesday, June 2 and just five on Thursday, June 3, ending at 3 p.m. We plan two staff rotations for the long day, hide chargers and spare packs inside the counter, and have the robot crates waiting behind the back wall for the 3 p.m. close.

Ready for two Hynes levels

The Hynes splits its exhibit space between Halls A and B on the Plaza level, where Hall B has drive-on floor access, and Halls C and D upstairs on level two. We size robot crates for the route from the dock to whichever level the 2027 floor plan gives you, and schedule the robot's arrival before the structure.

A

Hall A (Plaza level)

38,770 square feet with entrances from Boylston Street and the Prudential Center, and ceilings of 14 to 18 feet.

Our advice A low ceiling caps towers and robot reach; we keep signs and arm envelopes inside the lower figure if your booth lands here.

B

Hall B (Plaza level)

36,900 square feet with drive-on floor access for freight delivery.

Our advice Heavy robots and test rigs roll straight in here, so we plan the largest crates for Hall B if the floor plan allows.

C

Halls C and D (level two)

Hall C is 37,750 square feet with ceilings of 20 to 23 feet; Hall D, 37,730, is nearly column-free. Both connect to the Sheraton Boston Hotel.

Our advice Upstairs halls are reached from the docks through the building, so we size crates for that route and schedule a robot's arrival before the structure.

Robotics Summit & Expo exhibitor questions

Questions exhibitors ask us before Robotics Summit & Expo

How much does a booth at Robotics Summit & Expo 2027 cost?

Space comes inside sponsor packages, which the organizer prices on request. For the build, a compact package booth with a working demo runs $7,500 to $15,000 as a 10×20 rental, and a custom 20×20 island for a mobile robot $50,000 to $120,000. Robot plinths, sensor screens and Boston labor move the number most.

What is the deadline for Robotics Summit & Expo 2027?

The organizer has posted no 2027 exhibitor deadlines yet, so form and freight dates are not confirmed yet. Packages are sold by tier, and only one Presenting package with a 20×20 is offered. For a June 2 opening our build calendar asks for your approved design by mid-March 2027.

Can we rent a booth for Robotics Summit & Expo?

Yes. Our Boston rental kit pairs a printed tension-fabric wall and a robot plinth with a spec-card component wall, LED lighting and a lockable prototype counter, plus freight, build and pack-out on a fixed proposal. You ship only the robot, the parts and the people.

What booth sizes come with Robotics Summit sponsor packages?

The 2027 sponsorship page lists a 20×20 with the exclusive Presenting package, and a 10×10 with each of the Platinum, Diamond and Gold packages. Passes, a dedicated session, a panel seat or a 30-minute Engineering Theater talk differ by tier. Extra space beyond the package is arranged with the events sales team.

Can we run a live robot at the Hynes?

Live robots are part of this show: the organizer's exhibit page promotes a working humanoid demo and a full-size pickleball court where a ball machine serves attendees. Demo safety and power rules for 2027 are not confirmed yet, so we read the exhibitor kit when it opens and build the barriers and taped zones it asks for.

Which hall will Robotics Summit & Expo use at the Hynes?

The 2027 hall assignment is not confirmed yet. The Hynes has four exhibit halls: A, 38,770 square feet, and B, 36,900, on the Plaza level, and C, 37,750, and D, 37,730 and nearly column-free, on level two. We check ceiling heights and freight routes once the floor plan places your booth.

How is freight handled for a Boston robotics booth?

The contractor named in the 2027 kit moves crates between the loading dock or its warehouse and your space, and no 2027 handling rate is posted. Robots are dense and batteries need careful packing, so every crate is weighed in Fishkill, lithium packs travel under their own carrier paperwork, and the handling estimate appears as a separate line in our quote.

Can we reuse our Robotics Summit booth at RoboBusiness?

The same team runs RoboBusiness in the fall, so the plinth and component wall can follow you there with a business-focused graphic set once its 2027 location is announced, and on to Automate. Medical robotics exhibitors can reuse it at MEDevice Boston. We store the kit between shows and refit the plinth when your robot changes.

When is Robotics Summit & Expo 2027?

Wednesday, June 2 and Thursday, June 3, 2027, at the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center in Boston. Expo doors open at 10 a.m. both days, closing at 5 p.m. on Wednesday and at 3 p.m. on Thursday. The 2026 show ran May 27–28 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.

How many people attend Robotics Summit & Expo?

The Robot Report's 2026 pre-show guide expected more than 5,000 robotics experts and over 200 exhibitors at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. The 2027 sponsorship page reports that over 41 percent of attendees hold C-suite, executive or senior management titles. Attendance for 2027 is not confirmed yet.

Who organizes Robotics Summit & Expo?

The Robot Report and its parent company Arrowfly produce the event and its co-located DeviceTalks Boston; the same team runs RoboBusiness. MassRobotics is the strategic partner and ran startup programs on the 2026 floor. Booths and sponsorships are booked through the events sales team named on the Robotics Summit sponsorship page.

Is Robotics Summit & Expo open to the public?

It is a professional event: attendees register for a full conference pass or an expo pass, and in 2026 the RBR50 awards dinner was a separately ticketed evening. The audience is engineers and managers who build commercial robots, so we write booth graphics for specialists rather than general visitors.

Ask these before you sign

Five questions to ask any exhibit builder for Robotics Summit & Expo:

  1. Is every fee on the proposal, including what the Robotics Summit & Expo show contractor bills?
  2. Who actually builds it for Robotics Summit & Expo: your shop or a subcontractor?
  3. Does your project manager stay on the floor through install and dismantle in Boston?
  4. For Robotics Summit & Expo, what is in the rental and what is billed by the show?
  5. Where does the booth go after Robotics Summit & Expo, and what does storage cost?

Common situations

Already own a booth? Your existing booth gets refreshed graphics and repairs, then we ship it to Boston, install it and store it between shows. You keep the structure you paid for and bring it to Robotics Summit & Expo.

Exhibiting from outside the US? We are your team on the ground in Boston: freight to the advance warehouse, show-service orders, installation and storage, with one project manager answering your emails in your time zone.

Short on time? A rental with your graphics can be ready for Robotics Summit & Expo in two to three weeks. You will know on the first call what is realistic for your Robotics Summit & Expo date.
