Prints that stop the aisle: SwimShow 2027 booths in Miami Beach
A SwimShow booth has to sell a print, a cut and a fabric in the few seconds a buyer gives each aisle, so we build bright, wall-length displays with room to write orders. For Hall D on the island we handle the contractor paperwork and time freight against the causeway traffic.

What makes SwimShow different, and how we build for it
SwimShow has run for four decades and calls itself the swimwear industry's most established exhibition, with 7,500+ buyers, brands, press and industry leaders from 60+ countries, per the organizer. It takes Hall D of the Miami Beach Convention Center, steps from the ocean, and the floor is built for discovery: SwimLab, run with WGSN, gives emerging designers a dedicated space for the fourth year running, the CURVE Capsule brings intimates and lingerie brands onto the swim floor, and Made in Rio has its own category in the brand directory. A two-day conference runs on the show floor itself, so buyers never leave the hall. In October the team runs EDIT SwimShow at Mr. C Coconut Grove for inter-seasonal buys.
They want to see the season's prints and cuts together, feel fabric, check size ranges and leave with an order placed or an appointment booked for the line review.
Bigger accounts come with a plan: they need the collection grouped by program, pricing tiers clear and a seated corner to discuss volumes and delivery windows.
SwimShow welcomes media and content creators, who look for a styled moment worth filming and a quick brand story told by someone from the label.
Your team in Miami Beach
Two shops and one project manager for SwimShow
We build in our own production shop in Fishkill, NY, and our Las Vegas hub, ship to the Miami Beach Convention Center, and install with our own project manager on the floor and vetted local labor. Expect a 30–45-day build for SwimShow, secure storage and a pre-show QA.
Your team arrives at SwimShow to a lit, stocked booth. You just show up.
Inside SwimShow 2027
SwimShow rules that shape your booth
SwimShow curates its exhibitors within the Swim, Resort, Men, Children and Accessory categories, and brands apply through the Join Us page before space is offered. We prepare renderings and a collection summary you can attach to the application.
Under Florida's right-to-work rules exhibitor employees can assemble with hand tools inside show limits; hired labor must come from the show contractor or a registered EAC. We file as your EAC and bring the certificates.
At the Miami Beach Convention Center, rigging, electrical, internet, cleaning and catering are exclusive to the center's providers. We order your lighting circuits and any hanging sign from those providers before the early-order date.
Miami Beach Fire Prevention reviews covered and multilevel exhibits through a plan submission. If your booth has a canopy or ceiling element, we prepare the fire package with the drawings.
Programs worth planning for
SwimShow's collaboration with WGSN, now in its fourth year, giving emerging swim designers a dedicated space on the floor to show collections to buyers, press and industry leaders.
A curated selection of intimates and lingerie brands from the CURVE show, presented on the SwimShow floor at the Miami Beach Convention Center so buyers shop swim and intimates together.
An exclusive two-day conference held on the show floor, with panels and masterclasses on summer fashion trends, AI, social media, sustainability, marketing and communications.
The October inter-seasonal show at Mr. C Miami in Coconut Grove, run with CURVE, for core collections, inter-seasonal styles, immediates and custom orders; the 2026 edition ran October 26–27.
SwimShow is the long-running convention-hall swim market in Miami Beach; choose it over Collective Shows when you want a full booth on a curated show floor with international and department store buyers rather than a package room in a hotel. Compare every fashion and beauty show we build for →

Case study · French Avenue
French Avenue at a fragrance and beauty trade show
A premium fragrance environment built around discovery, with a flow designed for real conversations and product sampling.
French Avenue's booth turned product discovery into real conversations; at SwimShow the product is a print and a cut instead of a scent, but buyers need the same pull from the aisle to the table.

04 Designing for swimwear, resort wear, men's and children's swim and beach accessory brands at SwimShow
Four things we get right for SwimShow exhibitors
1Color-true light for prints
Swim sells on color, and Hall D at the Miami Beach Convention Center is a convention hall with its own lighting. We specify high-CRI LED fixtures over every wall so coral reads as coral, and test your actual pieces under them before the booth ships.
2Forms, not just hangers
A bikini on a hanger hides its cut. We mix half forms, hanging forms and folded tables so a buyer sees fit and coverage from the aisle, and we keep forms modest and product-led rather than dressing them as a lifestyle shoot.
3Next to the conference, plan for crowds
SwimShow runs its two-day conference on the show floor, which pulls buyers into the hall between sessions. We keep the aisle edge clear and put the season's three hero pieces where a session crowd passing by will see them.
4A corner for content
Media, stylists and content creators walk the SwimShow floor. A small backdrop with your campaign image and good light gives them a reason to shoot in your booth instead of the lounge, and it doubles as a place for your own social posts.

Where you could be at SwimShow 2027
SwimShow lists Hall D of the Miami Beach Convention Center as its home. These are the parts of the campus that matter for a SwimShow booth.
Hall D
SwimShow's hall, one of four contiguous halls on a single level with high clear heights and docks along the west side off Convention Center Drive.
Our advice Freight comes in from the west docks, so we label crates with your Hall D booth number and schedule delivery inside the contractor's target window.
Show floor lounges and conference area
The 2026 floor plan placed the Crossroads Lounge, a coffee bar, a headshot studio and registration inside the hall, with the two-day conference held on the floor.
Our advice Booths near the lounges see buyers waiting between sessions; we keep that face of the booth open and merchandised.
Terraces and Pride Park
Outdoor space on the campus, including the six-acre park to the north, used for receptions and brand activations with venue and city permits.
Our advice A summer activation outside needs a weather-rated build and permits; we plan it as a separate line on the proposal.

Logistics for SwimShow 2027, handled
The convention center sits on a barrier island: freight crosses the MacArthur, Venetian or Julia Tuttle causeway, checks in at an off-island marshaling yard and unloads at the docks on the building's west side. Exhibitor staff can handle light assembly with hand tools under Florida's right-to-work rules, but rigging, electrical, internet, cleaning and catering belong to the center's own providers. SwimShow falls in the first week of the Atlantic storm season, so your crates leave Fishkill early, land at the advance warehouse days ahead of target, and travel with a weather fallback route. Purple registers as your EAC, and the install is led by our project manager with vetted Miami-area labor.
Hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines for the building that hosts SwimShow are in our Miami Beach Convention Center exhibitor guide.
What Purple handles
- High-CRI lighting tested on your prints
- Forms and fixtures that show cut and fit
- Exhibitor-appointed contractor paperwork

SwimShow exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before SwimShow
When is SwimShow 2027?
SwimShow 2027 takes the floor June 5–7, 2027 on Miami Beach; the daily hours are not confirmed yet. SwimShow's inter-seasonal EDIT show ran October 26–27, 2026 at Mr. C Miami in Coconut Grove, in partnership with the lingerie show CURVE.
Where is SwimShow held?
SwimShow's contact page lists Hall D at the Miami Beach Convention Center on Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Florida 33139. Halls A through D form one level-floor run with the loading side facing west, and SwimShow's partner hotels are a short walk toward the ocean.
How much does a booth at SwimShow cost?
SwimShow's sales team quotes booth space after you apply; there is no public rate card for 2027. Our build is separate: a Purple 10×20 rental with lighting, forms and graphics typically runs $7,500 to $15,000, and a custom 20×20 runs $50,000 to $120,000. Show labor, power and drayage are billed by the contractors.
How do I exhibit at SwimShow?
Brands apply through the Join Us page. SwimShow curates its roster across swim, resort, men's, children's and accessory categories, so show management looks at each brand before offering space. Emerging designers can also aim for SwimLab, the dedicated area run with WGSN.
Who attends SwimShow?
SwimShow reports 7,500+ buyers, manufacturers, designers, press, stylists and industry leaders from 60+ countries. Buyers come from boutiques, resort shops, specialty and surf stores, department stores, mass merchants and cruise lines. Buyers and press register through the same Join Us page.
What is SwimLab at SwimShow?
SwimLab is the collaboration between SwimShow and WGSN that gives emerging designers a dedicated space to show their collections to buyers and press. It has run four years in a row, and SwimShow lists SwimLab brands as their own category in the brand directory.
What is the CURVE Capsule at SwimShow?
After partnering with CURVE at EDIT in Coconut Grove, SwimShow added a curated capsule of intimates and lingerie brands to its convention center floor, so buyers can shop swim and intimates under one roof. CURVE Capsule brands appear as a filter in the brand list.
Can we set up our own booth at the Miami Beach Convention Center?
Your own full-timers can put a simple booth together with hand tools, inside SwimShow's limits, because Florida is a right-to-work state. Power, internet, cleaning and anything hung from the ceiling are ordered from the building's in-house providers, and carts or dollies must use the dock. We file as your contractor for larger builds.
What does drayage cost at the Miami Beach Convention Center?
We budget roughly $170 per 100 lbs for 2026 Miami Beach freight handling, plus the usual minimum charge and late or overtime surcharges; the official SwimShow tariff fixes the final number. The bigger cost on Miami Beach is time, since marshaling is off-island and trucks that miss their target can lose their slot.
Where should SwimShow exhibitors stay?
SwimShow lists partner hotels with discounted blocks near the center. For 2026 these included the Kimpton Surfcomber and the Albion, 0.3 miles away, the Unframed HQ Hotel one block away and the Ritz-Carlton South Beach. The 2027 hotel list is not confirmed yet.
Is there a conference at SwimShow?
SwimShow hosts an exclusive two-day conference on the show floor with panels and masterclasses on trends, AI in fashion, social media and sustainability. Past sessions included WGSN trend forecasting and a SwimLab talk, and attendance has been free for SwimShow guests.
Can we reuse the booth at other swim shows?
Swim brands often pair SwimShow with Collective Shows in Huntington Beach or Miami, Surf Expo in Orlando and MAGIC in Las Vegas. Collective Shows sells package booths only, so we split the kit: the full build for SwimShow and Surf Expo, graphics and props for Collective.
Is SwimShow worth exhibiting at?
For swim and resort brands that sell to boutiques, resorts, department stores and international buyers, it is the category's long-running convention hall show, with a curated floor and buyers from 60+ countries. Brands wanting a smaller, package-only hotel setting can look at Collective Shows.
Before you sign for SwimShow
Five things to ask every builder quoting SwimShow:
- Are all fees on paper, including what the contractor at the Miami Beach Convention Center bills?
- Who actually builds it for SwimShow: your shop or a subcontractor?
- Will your own project manager be at SwimShow for install and dismantle?
- Which items are in the rental, and which does the show bill?
- What happens to the booth after SwimShow, and what does storage cost?
Common situations
Already own a booth? We refresh the graphics, repair what is worn, ship it to the Miami Beach Convention Center, install it and store it between shows. The structure you paid for stays in use.
Exhibiting from outside the US? We handle the ground work for SwimShow: freight to the advance warehouse, show-service orders, installation and storage, with one project manager replying to your emails in your time zone.
Short on time? In two to three weeks, a rental with your graphics can be ready for Miami Beach. You will know on the first call what is realistic for your SwimShow date.
