Rosen Centre Hotel Exhibitor Guide
Also known as the Omni Rosen, its name when it opened in 1995
A covered skywalk runs from this 24-story tower to the Orange County Convention Center, and KBIS 2026 sold 25,000 sq ft of its show floor inside the hotel. Its own expos fill a 35,000 sq ft Grand Ballroom with room for 233 booths. One rule shapes every move-in: the hotel takes no exhibit boxes at all.

Quick answers
What exhibitors ask about the Rosen Centre Hotel
The hotel's house rules say it cannot accept any drayage, packages or exhibits, because storage is limited. Ship to your show contractor's warehouse.
The skywalk leads to the OCCC West Concourse, and the North/South Building is a short walk across the street. The two buildings keep separate docks and rules.
No one has to join a union. The hotel does require every booth exhibit to go through a drayage, decorating or exhibit company, and your show kit sets what your own staff may do.
Ballrooms & meeting space
Rosen Centre floor plan: Grand, Executive and Junior ballrooms
All three ballrooms sit on Level 1, next to the loading areas and the skywalk to the convention center. The salons are on Level 2, right above them. The diagram stacks the two levels and draws each ballroom's height to its ceiling.
- 25 ft ceiling, Grand Ballroom
- Level 1, the ballroom level
Schematic, not to scale: box widths follow floor area and heights follow ceiling height, but rooms are not drawn where they really sit. Sizes, ceilings and booth counts from the hotel's capacity chart and 2025 facilities guide; loading areas from the guide's Level 1 map. Official plans: the hotel's capacities and floor plans page and facilities guide (PDF).
Recent and upcoming show floor plans
Only one organizer has posted a plan that shows its expo inside the Rosen Centre. Every show draws its own layout, aisles and booth numbers, so use it to see how the Grand Ballroom works as a hall, then work from your own show's plan.
The link goes to the organizer's program PDF and opens outside this site. Checked October 18, 2026. FYE, STAREAST and FMCCE had not posted plans for their 2027 shows.

Rosen Centre and the Orange County Convention Center: the skywalk hotel that became a KBIS show floor
Most hotels on International Drive send attendees across a bridge. In February 2026 the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show did the reverse: it sold a 25,000 sq ft "Discovery District" inside the Rosen Centre, steps from the OCCC's West Hall. So check your kit's facility line. An OCCC show can still put your booth in this hotel.
- 1995The tower opened on October 31 as the Omni Rosen, Harris Rosen's sixth hotel, beside the convention center.

- 25,000NSF of KBIS 2026 Discovery District space, for about 100 more exhibitors, each capped at 600 NSF. KBIS 2027 moves to Las Vegas.
- Own rulesBooths in the hotel follow its house rules: no packages at the hotel, Encore Global for all power and rigging, a fire-marshal plan 30 days out.
- 2029The OCCC's North/South expansion, with a 100,000 sq ft ballroom, is due to finish. Construction began in late 2025.

Insider tips
Rosen Centre exhibitor tips: what experienced teams do
Never label a box to the front desk
The hotel accepts no packages for exhibitors. Even a carton of brochures must go to the decorator's warehouse, or travel with your team.
Ask which Grand sections you have
Grand A/B/C and C/D/E are the same 23,100 sq ft, but the loading area sits by D and E. A booth near those doors is closest to the freight.
Plan for a same-morning move-in
NAICC 2026 gave exhibitors 8 am to noon and opened at 1 pm. Design a booth two people can stand up in four hours.
Get your layout to the decorator early
The hotel needs a fire-marshal approved CAD drawing 14 days before load-in, and shows without one are not let in. Send large or two-story designs well before that.
Pack water for load-in
House rule 30: the meeting space is not air conditioned during load-in, set-up and load-out. In Orlando that means a hot ballroom.
Check the convention center calendar
Big OCCC shows book the Rosen Centre as their exhibitor hotel, as the FSPA expo does in February 2027. Book crew rooms early in those weeks.
Freight & move-in

- The hotel takes no freightRule 4 of the hotel's production rules: no drayage, packages or exhibits are accepted for an exhibit company or its client. Pre- and post-show shipping and storage go through the show's decorator.
- Orlando contractor warehousesBattcon 2023 used the GES warehouse at 7945 Mandarin Drive; KBIS 2026 sent Rosen Centre exhibitors to Freeman at 10088 General Drive (Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 2:30 pm). Your kit names the one for your show.
- Loading areas on the ballroom levelThe hotel map shows loading areas beside Grand Ballroom D and E and between the Junior and Executive ballrooms, and the Grand Ballroom has freight doors at the back. Bay count and door sizes are not published.
- Short move-insNAICC 2026 moved exhibitors in from 8 am to noon and opened the hall at 1 pm. Battcon 2023 gave two windows, and trucks signing in after 2 pm could be charged overtime.
- Floor and equipment rulesBattery forklifts only, with unmarked tires; plywood over carpet protection in the ballrooms; floor rated for 500 lb per sq ft. The meeting space is not air conditioned or heated during load-in and load-out.
- Day −60Confirm the building and the room: hotel ballroom or OCCC hall, and which Grand sections.
- Day −30The show's decorator files the fire-marshal plan. Order Encore power and rigging.
- Day −21Purple ships to Orlando through our carrier network, to the contractor's advance warehouse.
- Day −14The CAD exhibit layout, load-in form and insurance certificate are due at the hotel.
- Day −7Warehouse cutoff in your kit. Nothing goes to the hotel itself.
- Day 0Move-in, often the same morning the hall opens. Trucks in before 2 pm.
Labor & house rules
Rosen Centre labor and exhibit rules: what your team can do itself
Florida is a right-to-work state, so no one on your team has to join a union. The Rosen Centre publishes a three-page set of production and exhibit rules that every decorator signs. The key points are below; your show kit is the final word on who may build your booth.
✓Usually your call
- No union membership needed to work the show
- Your own full-time staff setting up, where your show kit allows it
- Battery pallet jacks and carts your crew brings (the hotel lends none)
- Walking to the OCCC over the skywalk
●Required or exclusive
- A drayage, decorating or exhibit company for every booth exhibit
- Encore Global: exclusive electrical contractor, all power cords and all rigging
- Hotel catering: written approval for any food or drink samples
- Insurance certificate naming Rosen Hotels, 14 days before load-in
!Not allowed
- Shipping packages or crates to the hotel
- Load-in without a fire-marshal approved CAD layout
- Confetti; outside alcohol
- Fog or haze outside the three ballrooms
- Crates stored in service areas

Rosen Centre drayage and show budget estimator
Pick a booth size and type to get planning numbers for shipping weight, drayage at about $155 per hundredweight, and installation and dismantling (I&D) labor. The rate matches our OCCC guide, because Rosen Centre shows use the same Orlando contractor warehouses. Every number is a Purple planning estimate, not a quote: the hotel publishes no drayage or labor rate, and your show kit carries the actual tariff. Florida is a right-to-work state.

Get a real Orlando quoteHow these planning numbers work
- Shipping weight: about 6 lbs per sq ft for a rental booth, 9 for custom or hybrid, 12 for fully custom, crated, with graphics and furniture.
- Drayage: $155 per 100 lbs (cwt), Purple's Orlando planning rate, with a 200 lb minimum. Loose or pad-wrapped freight adds 30%.
- I&D labor hours: install plus dismantle, 0.06–0.10 person-hours per sq ft for rental, 0.08–0.14 for custom or hybrid, 0.12–0.20 for fully custom.
- Labor rate: $138–$207 per person-hour, straight time, a planning range from published 2026 show labor rates elsewhere. No rate is published for this hotel, and overtime costs more.
- Own staff: Florida is right-to-work. If your show kit lets your own full-time staff set up, I&D labor drops to $0 here.
- Not included: booth space, the exhibit itself, freight to Orlando, Encore power and rigging orders, travel and tax.
At the Rosen Centre: every crate goes through the decorator, because the hotel receives none, so all of your freight is billed as material handling. Power comes only from Encore Global. See all venues on the drayage rates page.

How many booths fit in the Rosen Centre Grand Ballroom?
The hotel lists 233 booths of 8 by 10 ft or 187 of 10 by 10 ft in the full Grand Ballroom, and 141 of 8 by 10 ft in Grand A/B/C or C/D/E. Your show's floor plan sets the real count.

Yes. A covered skywalk, opened in January 2011, links it to the OCCC West Building, and the North/South Building is a short walk across the street. It is a separate building with its own rules.
Can I ship my booth to the Rosen Centre?
No. The hotel's exhibit rules say it cannot accept any drayage, packages or exhibits. Ship to your show contractor's advance warehouse, such as GES or Freeman in Orlando.
Who provides power at the Rosen Centre?
Encore Global is the hotel's exclusive electrical contractor and does all rigging. All power cords, including extension cords, must come from Encore.
Is labor union at the Rosen Centre?
Florida is a right-to-work state (state constitution, Article I, Section 6), so union membership cannot be required. The hotel requires a drayage, decorating or exhibit company for booth exhibits; your kit sets what your own staff may do.
How much is drayage at the Rosen Centre?
Plan about $155 per hundredweight for crated freight. The hotel publishes no rate; your contractor's show kit carries the actual tariff.
Where do exhibitors park at the Rosen Centre?
At the hotel. Its fact sheet lists $40 a day for self-parking and $53 for valet, plus tax, and $60 for oversized vehicles. Rates change, so check before you go.

Rosen Centre vs. Orange County Convention Center: what is the difference?
The Rosen Centre is a hotel with about 160,000 sq ft of meeting space; its largest room is the 35,000 sq ft Grand Ballroom. The OCCC next door has over 2 million sq ft of exhibit space. A show inside the hotel follows the hotel's rules and uses Encore for power, even when the OCCC is a skywalk away.
Does the Rosen Centre have a loading dock?
Yes. The hotel's map shows loading areas beside Grand Ballroom D/E and between the Junior and Executive ballrooms, and the Grand Ballroom has freight doors at the back. Forklifts must be battery powered, trucks park in an area set by your convention services manager, and dock sizes are not published.
What shows are at the Rosen Centre in 2026 and 2027?
Expos booked here include the F-15 TCP Worldwide Review (November 16–20, 2026), the First-Year Experience conference (February 13–16, 2027), STAREAST (April 25–30, 2027), the Florida Medical Cannabis Conference & Exhibition (May 21–23, 2027) and Pawn Expo (July 19–21, 2027).
