Why this page exists

The arena next to this convention center has been renamed four times since it broke ground in 2001, Gwinnett Civic Center Arena, the Arena at Gwinnett Center, Infinite Energy Arena, and now Gas South Arena, and the whole 118-acre campus has followed suit as Gas South District. The convention center itself has stayed put, a straightforward 90,000 sq ft hall serving Gwinnett County's trade shows, consumer expos and association meetings about 30 minutes northeast of downtown Atlanta. This guide covers the exhibit hall, Georgia's labor rules, drayage, hotels, and the district's naming history.
